Lol. "Real Men" at least know how to construct a basic, coherent (look it up) sentence.
The fact that you spelled the same word incorrectly TWICE in DIFFERENT ways in the SAME sentence (Gai/Ghey - i assume you meant gay or guy?)and your appalling grasp of basic spelling and grammar makes it extremely hard to take anything you have to say seriously.
"All of thos ghey JRPG's are all da same." - Exactly the same thing could be said of most FPS's,...
lol.
That sentence right there says it all.
If the PS2 was your first "love" then you are barely out of your pampers in gaming terms.
You have the cheek to lecture gamers (myself included) who have been gaming since the Nes and Master System era and beyond on the gaming industry? Please.
That's like me being in a relationship with my girlfirend of six years trying to lecture my grandparents who have been married for 60 years on the...
And apparently all 360 fanboys live in the US and there is no gaming world beyond US borders.
Funny how you don't care about Japan but the US is always so important when it comes to your all important sales figures?
If Japan is such an insignificant market (as you seem to be implying) and this game sold a mill on day one there then the US and EU/UK sales combined are going to be huge. Japanese sales (and WORLDWIDE sales in general) are hugely important. The world...
"Oh yeah... It's relevant when it supports your argument. I forgot" - The door swings both ways. Metacritic and GOTY awards also used to be relevent to every 360 fanboy in the early days but it barely gets a mention from them now....wonder why?
"PS3 is a BLURAY PLAYER" - You say that like it's a bad thing. Sony pushed hard to make Blu-Ray a success for a reason (remember, when it killed of MS's HD-DVD format, you do remember that don't you?) and were the maj...
You seem to be forgetting the fact that the PS3 is also a Blu Ray player.
The more people that have a PS3 in their home the more likely it is they will begin to invest in Blu Ray movies. Sony battled hard to make a success of the Blu Ray format for a reason and it has paid off not only as a gaming medium but it's progressively becoming the dominant HD movie format of choice.
Blu Rays are becoming cheaper and more appealing, more people are upgrading to HDTV's by...
I know the feeling, this time of year is a killer when it comes to games. So much stuff i want but just don't have the funds!
Takes a little bit of extra messing about to transfer your funds around this way but well worth it if theres a game you really want and can't wait.
Fingers crossed they arrive on the UK store soon though, love the Oddworld series. Just wish they'd somehow revive the series for the current gen!
No AVP: Predator Trailer? Fail
/Jokes
That is a pretty huge update with some good stuff in there. Slightly odd that it only lists the Alien and Marine trailers for AVP though, Predator would be awesome (keeping my fingers crossed AVP turns ouit as good as it looks!).
@Chewmandinga - Don't know if it helps but if you set up a US PSN account and also set up a Wirecard account online(basically an online prepay credit card account. You just top it up w...
"XBOX 360 34.53 million
PS3 28.35
You PS3 Fanbots can't get it through your heads, the PS3 is in 3rd and will remain there this gen"
And you 360 fanboys can't get it through your heads that of course the 360 is going to have sold more units so far as it came out A YEAR EARLIER. Not to mention the early RROD debacle and a mill in banned consoles is going to increase numbers aswell (sales for the arcade went through the roof after the ban happene...
Completely agree.
The atmosphere in Dead Space was amazing, the art style, use of sound and lighting were all superb. It all made for a genuinely creepy, intense experience of being alone and in serious trouble.
It really went back to the true survival horror roots that seem to have been lost in recent years in favour of cheap scares and all out action. Needless to say i loved it and feel it should have got far more recognition (and sales) than it did.
...
Good shout, that would definitly be a better collectors edition.
OST, artwork and a DVD would be worthy of that price, i'd take that over a cheap plastic model any day.
The art design and sound were superb in Dead Space, i'd be glad to see those items in a collectors edition! I'm not a huge fan of CE's myself but if it included those items for that price (and the game was obviouly up to scratch) i would definitley be tempted.
Agreed, these extortionate "Collectors Editions" are becoming a bit of a joke. Afterall, surely gamers should be more concerned about the actual game they are buying, not the overpriced plastic tat that come with it?
I absolutely love Dead Space and was massively hyped for a sequel even before the news was announced but with each new article i read i get a little more concerned with the direction it might be heading.
First their statement about the whol...
Superbly put, excellent comment and couldn't agree more
Bubbles+ to that.
Way, way too many memorable moments across the series to list! The MGS series is just amazingly memorable in general.
The most recent that sticks in my mind though is from MGS4; the "Return to Shadow Moses" section. As you infiltrate the base again and come across familiar points (the helipad from the beginning of MGS1, the air vent with the mice in it etc) you hear the original MGS1 musical score and get the ghostly voice flashbacks from the original. Made the hairs ...
"Fear. Jealousy. Frustration. Myopia" - Yeah, you'd definitley know all about those.
Your comments are laughable. "TheTruth"? You know less about the truth than Tiger's wife!
.....how do you like them apples?
Just goes to prove Activision is definitly a one trick pony.
COD sells like crazy but the rest of their games aren't worth $hit.
Bubbs+ to that.
Couldn't agree more.
Playing alone was what made DS so great, that feeling of being outnumbered and vulnerable with nobody around you to help is what created that constant sense of unease and dread.
Multiplayer just wouldn't provide that same feeling and imo co-op would just plain ruin the atmosphere! It's not needed and would be counter-productive for a game like this so why include it?
I think DS was one of the best...
That would definitely be an interesting release day head-to-head but Prototype 2 being a multiplat would give it a huge advantage if you were basing it purely on sales?
Plus Prototype got way more TV spots and advertising than Infamous ever did aswell. (i'm sure the same would apply for the sequels)
Either way, i'd just be extremely happy to get an Infamous sequel, the original was awesome!
Really hyped for this, can't wait!
Dead Space was awesome. I just hope they stick to a similar formula to the original and don't go all balls-out action like Capcom did with Res 5.
"The new, meaner looking outfit seems to reflect Isaac's new Im'ma-whoop-your-ass approach which EA said the protagonist now sports as they officially announced the game yesterday." - That has me just a little worried. The feeling of being totally outnumbered, alone and vulne...
Great, Great news! I'm seriously psyched for this!
This was one of my favourite games of not only 2008 but of this generation.
I picked up a new home theatre system for my PS3 last week (previous one was really old and didn't have optical connection on it!) and put the original DS in the other night to test it out. Turned the lights off and the volume up....what an experience!!! The sound design and engineering on this game is insanely good and really ramps up th...
Probably since he can't mention other major PS3 exclusive titles as they got multiple GOTY awards.
And due to the reason that he plays sales figures, not games.
