What else is he to say? They aren't selling 10's of thousands more 360s than PS3s anymore. They are irrelevant in Japan and outsold in Europe. Desperate times call for desperate measures...and stupid comments by MS employees.

As a fan of the first 2 games, I am disappointed by what I see in "Nuts and Bolts". It looks like a lot of effort has been put forth to try and distance this game from the previous 2. I could understand if it were Capcom and they wanted to distance themselves from DMC 2, but Banjo Kazooie was a great series. Nothing in anything I've seen makes me feel like I did when seeing Mario Galaxy. Or Ratchet and Clank. These franchises looked as though they evolved, but "stayed true"...
Didn't R&C break a million? When is selling a million of anything considered a flop?

I'm so glad Microsoft own Rare. When the founders of the damn company leave shortly after the MS acquisition, that should tell you something. Rare only in name.
It will be a hit with owners of the first. Won't move consoles. 360 will top off at 25 million (lifetime sales). Especially with their 08 lineup.

BS3 apparently hasn't looked at the PS3 lineup. Nothing to be upset about. It's not like having 2 sh1tty Rare games and Too Human, but it'll do.
It's the Achilles heel of most gamers- wishy washy like Charlie Brown. When games like Shadow Of the Colossus or Bioshock get released, they are art and elevate gaming to new fans of the medium. They have meaning and in some cases, social commentary. But when GTA or any other game that pushes what gaming can comment on, what level of interactivity the players experience, yet, get a bad rap from mainstream media, then the "It's just a game" mantra begins. This is no different.

Obvious mode would acknowledge the game LOOKS THE SAME. Having a high Gamerscore would imply I've gamed, heavily, on my old 360. That I indeed, owned a 360. It is much easier to discount the words of someone not looking to validate their purchase, isn't it?
Look. Just because you want it to be better than the video shows, doesn't mean it is. Looks like it did 2yrs ago. Oh, wait. Now there are more locusts on screen. That will redefine the genre. I didn't say it looked bad, just the same. You jump right into "defense mode" and I'm the fanboy? Ok...

It's hated on because it's Rare. Kameo, PDZ and Viva Pinata are all great reasons to hate.
Having owned a 360 (5 if you count the number of RROD I sent in to be "repaired") and Gears on launch, I'll say what I like. Dismiss it if you must, but it doesn't change the fact that it looks like it did 2yrs ago, except now you can use Locust as shields. How original.
I was expecting to be floored they way I was when gameplay of Killzone 2 surfaced, but alas, I wasn't. Unreal Engine updated + over 2yrs dev time (on a platform Epic is very, very familiar with) = that?! Yikes.
Expect co op.
I guess I have so many bubbles because I speak my mind, my opinion in a respectful manner. Sure, we all get heated, but I maintain. Try it.
