And many of those sites had DD before HD DVD and Blu ray, yet, they haven't taken off as many would have you think. As long as there are more potential customers without high speed internet and the means to utilize DD, it will only be another option to those that have. Physical media isn't going anywhere. When my ISP can dish out bandwidth for a 50GB movie download, without waiting for it to buffer, then we'll talk.
It's "taking off" more than HD DVD, right? They have to "believe" DVD is the more important format, they have no other format. Personally, I wouldn't pay $279 for a DVD player that will fail and games I can play on a PC...or PS3.
I was excited until I remembered this is the same Rare that blessed us Grabbed by the Ghoulies, Kameo, and PDZ. The days of GoldenEye are looooooooong gone. I loved me some KI but after seeing what they did to Banjo, I'd rather play KI2 on the N64.

My 360 buddy is always saying how great this game is. How the experience was one of the best he's had in gaming. Of course, the game probably sucks now that it is on PS3. Since this news was announced, I've seen countless "BioShock is so last year" comments from angry 360 owners. Regardless, I'll check out the "better" version.

When you're not spouting off attach rates and solely focusing on the US, you ignore the amount of time it has taken Sony to knock the 360 out of the top spot in the EU, taking 2 of the 3 regions. A great line up of titles that won't move consoles. Existing 360 owners will eat these up, simply because it is all they have. Same for Wii owners and the games available for Wii. Same for PS3 owners. However, the PS3 has a software lineup that will sell consoles. The Wii will always sell. That market share will just get smaller and smaller. 2008 is the beginning of the end for the Xbox 360.
