But the entire Entertainment and Devices division (including Xbox 360) was 14.45 billion in comparison to the 14.4 billion same quarter last year. That's A LOT of paper, but their profit was actually down 11%. Things aren't as rosy as they'd like you to believe.
Happened to me. Got a 9 digit code. They are 12 digit codes. Email mgobetasupport@konami.com. They'll ask you provide the 9 digit code you have and they will email you the "complete" code. Took about 3 hrs to get. I'm good now.

It's all perspective. You only get the cable with the over-priced 120GB HDD. Of course, you can order the transfer kit for free online and wait 4-6 weeks, but b1tching about that is kinda like b1tching about a 5 minute sign up process.
The only thing I am compelled to comment on is "No elegant way to transfer all your data when you change to a new drive? no problem."

Correct. You have to re-download the games, but they are listed in Account Management in your download list. Music, photos and even video is backed up. Copyrighted vids may not restore correctly tho...
So having to sign up for a BETA is a cluster*uck? As we've seen integration taking place with Socom.com, Killzone.com and the PSForums, isn't it jumping the gun a tad to assume the worst? 5 min of my time for MGO is well worth it. IMHO.

This game interests me more and more. After playing The Club demo, a lot of the games I had looked past are starting to catch my eye. Everything I've seen looks damn solid.
