That's so...2006. Is that the best you got? What does the disc format have to do with design decision? Or was that some attempt at humor? Anyway, if you enjoy pausing your game to change your weapon, so be it. I like fluidity.
After playing NG2, all I could muster was "meh". Not being able to change weapons on the fly sucked and it didn't look as good as Sigma. As of right now, either version of DMC4 owns NG2. Doesn't matter if you use the claws, the staff or dual blades...pausing to change your weapon is such a distraction. Gears 2 will the same "been there, done that" game ALL of Epic's games are.
I don't know if I'd say it saved it from extinction, but it definitely saved the 360 from getting completely rolled over this year. IMHO.
I was working at a Blockbuster when the Saturn was released. Man, the only thing that was worth a damn was Panzer and Nights. IMHO.
I'm surprised this got approved. Seriously, FDLC is supposed to insinuate DLC coming to the PS3? My god. If I could do the "Scanners" head explode thingy on everyone who approved this , I would.

There are roughly 6.5 million more 360s in the world then PS3s. GTAIV could easily move 2 million units compared to the expected/predicted 1 million 360s sold. Add all the games coming before Gears 2, compared to what the 360 will be offering before Gears 2, and that is not an insurmountable number.
Half the PS3 08 lineup could get pushed to 09 and it would still be stronger then either the Wii or 360. Just face it. They have some killer titles coming out.
