“There’s not much you can do from what’s what anyone has seen”
There never is in a beta
A lot of articles just came out in the last day or 2 (press embargo lifted for it) with a lot of good information on what's in the game at launch in way of content, missions, goals, and post-launch support. Pretty good read if you're up for digging through them
Maybe they wanted all the work for launch to go towards content that wouldn't be locked behind a paywall?
"Because Halo 5 was poorly received and Gears of War 4 flopped... If either had been a smash hit you know they'd be charging users out the nose"
It was actually announced before Halo 5 launched that all DLC was free

@Sgt_Slaughter
Actually, the $60 is for the years and years of work before the game comes out. It's got nothing to do with the game post-launch
@Servbot
Outfits in Sea of Thieves are still unlockables
"The whole delaying the MT's thing seems a bit off. It's like they want people to get invested and tell their friends there isn't MT's before shoving them in after people have already payed for the game and word of mouth. It feels sneaky and manipulative"
How is it sneaky and manipulative when they went on record more than a month before release, and said in no uncertain terms that there'll definitely be microtransactions, and then told us exac...
Halo Master Chief Collection was all games on a single disc
Not sure what the God of War part has to do with MS or EA. There are plenty of games these days that don’t have season passes, on both PlayStation and Xbox (multiplat and exclusive)
*cuphead reviews and sells well*
“Lol it’s cause Xbox has no games to choose from, what do you expect”
*PUBG sells 4 million copies*
“Lol it’s cause Xbox has no games to choose from, what do you expect”
*sea of thieves has 300,000 players for closed beta*
“Lol it’s cause Xbox has no games to choose from, what do you expect”
Are we going to do this with every game that comes out?
“A lot of people now a days are so obsessed with console sales”
Says the guy talking about how much the PS4 sold in a Xbox/Switch sales article
I mean, you're not wrong, but that said I know more people who enjoy using Spotify premium than physically buying CDs from retailers, so I don't know if it's a good or a bad thing either way
And yet that didn't stop 3 million people getting it when it came out on the Xbox One
Didn't the developers of Forza Horizon series say that they're currently working on an open-world game that isn't Forza? I would have thought they were working on that, but I guess it's not out of the realm of possibility to work on both at once
“I would really like more all year talking about rez and how in 2 or 3 year new games will came”
*looks back at 2013/2014*
I know you’re poking fun at Xbox owners, but you know that’s exactly what PS4 owners were doing back then, right?
I agree that the PS4 lineup is leaps and bounds better that XB1s, but these things happen in cycles, so while it’s Xbox fans doing that at the moment, it’ll come back around in a couple of years. Always...
“Don’t know how well it’s going to do without a deep rich single player component”
Just as I believe not every game needs multiplayer; there’s no rule that says every game needs single player in order to be good
Nice irrelevant comment. What’s your point, exactly?
We know based on a few days ago that the Xbox version has minimum of 1 million sold, maybe a bit more at this point, so of course the majority are on PC, especially given it’s been out so much longer on PC and like a week on Xbox
Announcing that a game will run at 60fps is considered PR now?
PC players who can’t afford a rig that runs it at 60fps seem to be coping just fine, so why would it be different with Xbox users?
@goat
It’s not doing as well as the PS4, that doesn’t mean that it’s doing terrible
