...no... that’s not what this is at all
It’s a completely separate mode to Adventure that’s pvp focused, which is something the playerbase has asked for since launch. How does that mean that there aren’t enough people playing?
I think the issue is they repackaged a free emulator and slapped a price tag on it
I think you may have misinterpreted the title.
They’re not paying 45% extra than other people for the exact same product (eg you said “spend 45% more for games”).
They’re actually spending 45% more money within the games that they get via the subscription (DLC, microtransactions, etc)
It basically means that people who get their game via subscription service will spend more in-game than those who buy their games outright
@srhalo
What else do they lump into gaming?
@sam
“That water tech in Sea of Thieves should've been put to better use, a 3rd person action adventure game would've been better”
Ah yes, the third person action adventure game. The staple ‘PlayStation Exclusive’ game
“Cuphead is the Dark Souls Of side scrollers”
Etc
I’m wondering if they’ll announce further acquisitions too, what with the Obsidian rumours going around
People who prefer consoles will always prefer consoles. Same with those who prefer PCs.
All that MS is saying is that people who prefer to play on PC and don’t want a console can also share this service. I don’t really see that as a bad thing
@Lime
Thats because Uncharted consistently scores around the 9-10 mark, it would be out of the norm to get a 7. That doesn’t make 7 a ‘critical flop’, which is what you said.
@Blow
You’re spot on that neither game lived up to expectations, and they’re not played as much as they were at launch, but that’s not what I was arguing against - to say that 7/10 is a ‘critical flop’ is just ill informed.
The reason I brought ...
Didn’t both average around 7/10 critically on meta critic? In what world is 7/10 a critical flop?
Someone better go tell Driveclub that it critically flopped too. While we’re at it, better tell GT Sport that it’s on thin ice with that cheeky 7.5 it pulled
“N4g is pro-Xbox these I guess”
The agree/disagree ratio on literally any positive Xbox/MS-related comment will tell you otherwise.
*major triple-A game that cost millions of dollars to make, releases to 9/10 scores across the board*
“Doesn’t have single player? Should have been FTP”
Lol get outta here. No one’s saying that God Of War should have been cheaper because it doesn’t have multiplayer, so why the double standard?
Such a small percentage of people play COD single player anyway, and it’s multiplayer always gets more praise, so why aren’t they allowed to cut...
You must not download the free PS+ or GWG games then
Do you have any examples? It sounds to me you’re more complaining about multiplayer games in general
“They should be operating at MAX settings with ray tracing enabled”
Why has this ray tracing obsession only just picked up lately? Is ray tracing the new Anti-Aliasing and Crushed Blacks?
Does it matter whether MS profits from BC or not? It’s a cool feature, and gamers are the ones who benefit. Isn’t that what matters more?
“Played one match and quit”
Why?
Not just Sony, it happens when every major company releases anything these days.
Sony actually gets the most praise out of all of them
So instead of them providing a free BC service like MS (in which you only pay for the game you want to buy - and if you already own it then it’s free), it’s more okay for them to say ‘no’ to that idea and release a $100 system with a very limited library instead?
Tell me, how is this a better option?
Lol right
“MS needs to invest in first party!”
*buys and creates 7 first party studios in the last 6 months*
“Lol classic MS, can’t believe they’re buying studios”
