Um... yeah? He’s come out and said things like that in the past, where they’ve made a mistake or changed direction.
Obviously there’s going to be a limit to what they come out and say, but it’s not like they’re always sweeping things under the rug when they don’t go well.

Completely agreed - one review I read was saying that Ubisoft could learn a lot from GoT. There’s nothing wrong with doing things that have already been done, it’s all in the execution, and it seems like Sucker Punch took a tested formula and improved on it

You’re correct, I think what they said is still true.
Problem was a lot of people were saying the *reason* they came out and said those things, made the exclusive tech demo etc was out of the goodness of their hearts, while others suggested that money looked like it had changed hands.
This shows the latter - doesn’t mean what they said isn’t true, just implies they were incentivised to come out and say it
Then they’ll buy those other games? Doesn’t stop it from being valuable.
I mean it’s a podcast that discusses multiple topics, not an article focused on one topic, so that makes sense. I don’t think it was done maliciously.
That said, good call on singling out the ‘PS5 pricing’. Of course it’s going to be the same price for both consoles

Firstly, opinions exist. Just as you have a right to think it’s 10/10, others have a right to score it lower.
Secondly, this is everything wrong with his review scores are perceived these days, where even a 7/10 is perceived as a ‘bad’ score. Just ridiculous
He’s not trying to sell anyone - it’s just if you like Xbox on this site you’re kind of forced to justify it, lest your choice be labelled as the ‘wrong’ one.
On topic, definitely keen for both. I like that we’re having two consoles/companies that are taking different approaches to next gen. May as well get the best of both worlds

From a technical perspective is was pretty decent. Stream quality was good and consistent.
Problem is Twitch dominates, there was no way Mixer was ever going to be a real contender. It’d be like launching a direct competitor to Facebook - it’s a behemoth with a monopoly on the market share
