If Gamespot is going through the trouble of having a Resistance 2 live gameplay session, they sure had better have a stellar review score in store.
If Gamespot gave Resistance: Fall of Man a 8.6/10, I expect nothing lower than a 9.0/10 from them because the difference between Resistance 1 and Resistance 2 is like night and day.
Both versions look nearly identical to me. This just proves that when the PS3 is the lead console for multiplatform games, they end up looking good on both the PS3 and 360, and the PS3 version has no issues whatsoever.

I defiantly agree with Kojima Productions, and Insomniac is a no branier because they have rolled out quality games every year since the Playstation 3's launch.

I am SOOOO glad to hear this news because I defiantly did not want to wait until 2010 to play GT5. I'm guessing GT5 will be a late 2009 release, but the wait will be well worth it.

Just because Resistance 2 doesn't get all 9/10's across the board doesn't mean that it's not a AAA game because it is. If I remember correctly Fable 2 got several 8/10's and 8.5/10's, and this 8.5/10 score from 1UP for R2 is no different.

People that collect video games buy various video games and don't open them (Final Fantasy VII Black Label Version, Megaman Legends 2, ICO and other Rare video games.) because Unopened Rare video games are always worth more/retain a higher value if they remain unopened.

I think that reviewers are Critical towards all PS3 games period whether they be multiplatform or Exclusives.
Developers need to develop the PS3 and 360 game separately to bring out the best in both consoles or just have the PS3 as the lead platform.
When a 3rd party PS3 game ends up looking or performing worse than the 360 version, it makes the Playstation 3's hardware look bad, but really it's the developers themselves that should be getting slammed.

The Xbox 360 should have been hit a million in Japan by now with as many JRPG's it already has.
The PS3 has had very little JRPG's and has sold well over 2 million consoles over there in less than 2 years.

Yeah, even though the majority of games have gone multi., I think that both the Xbox 360 and PS3 will ALWAYS have a few 3rd party exclusives here and there.
Quantum Theory and Wardevil are 2 other 3rd party PS3 exclusives coming 2009, and Sony didn't pay a dime for them. Since Sony didn't pay anything for them to stay exclusive, I'm pretty confident that those 2 games will stay exclusive.
These are the type of games that I look forward to spending my $60+ dollars on...games that are pushing the boundaries of the Playstation 3 and are utilizing the Blu-ray.

Resistance 2 is a HUGE leap from the first Resistance and the difference is like night and day.
I'm sure that the first Resistance could have looked better visually if Insomniac had more time, but overrall I think that it was a pretty good launch title on the Playstation 3. Plus, I'm sure Insomniac was under some pressure to have the game finished for the PS3's launch.

When I first scrolled down to look at the score, I was already anticipating a low score somewhere around 5/10 or 6/10, but when I saw 3/10 I burst out laughing!! OMG!!

Why the Hell should we be worried? It's not like the PS3 hasn't had games that got 9/10's and 10/10's this year (Metal Gear Solid 4, LBP).
The 360 hasn't had a game all year that has been rated as high as MGS4 or LBP, and IGN's review of Resistance 2 (9.5) tells me that R2 is in for more 9/10's. Keep on spinning little ol' PP, keep on spinning.
The only reason why I haven't pre-ordered KZ2 is because I'm hoping for the announcement of a Collectors Edition. I always buy Collectors Edition's for games I'm very highly anticipating, and Killzone 2 is no different.

I have to disagree that Call of Duty World At War will be the best shooter this holiday.... If this Call of Duty game was set in the Modern Era, then MAYBE, but it's back to WWII and I highly doubt it.
