The Spryo franchise hasn't been the same since Insomniac stopped development for it.
Crappy Spyro games like this give a bad name to the Spyro franchise because back in the golden age of the PS1, the Spryo games were very good.
After looking at gameplay footage from KZ2, nothing from this game even looks like a Flop. Guerrilla has been testing the Online portion of the game for MONTHS, Guerrilla worked with Sony Santa Monica (God of War 3 developers) and Insomniac and the graphics in KZ2 look better than anything on the Xbox 360.
Your just another Xbox 360 fanboy in denial.
If there's one game to convert Xbox 360 fanboys to PS3 owners, Killzone 2 is the game to do it.
I think that some gaming sites doing reviews are just afraid to give Gears 2 and Resistance 2 the same score because Gears has the hype train behind it and mid-night openings while Resistance 2 doesn't have as much hype, but it's still VERY solid shooter and is big improvement from the first.
I'm just glad that IGN had the b@lls to give Resistance 2 and Gears 2 the same score and I think that IGN is giving Resistance 2 the recognition it truly deserves.
Resistance 2...
I'm guessing that Gamespot might have scored Gears 2 lower than Gears 1 because at the time whenever Gears 1 first came out, it was something much different than anything else out on the 360 and it had more of a "Wow" factor and it had a TON of hype, but since then there's been many other shooters.
I'm thinking that maybe if Gears 2 had a MUCH more compelling/deeper storyline (Metal Gear Solid 4 caliber storyline) and/or had 4 Player Co-op that Gamespot might have given...
Is the Xbox 360 price cuts harming PS3 sales? NOPE, and I've got links to prove it.

The PS3's sales actually increased in September's NPD in comparison to August's NPD without a price cut, so the Xbox 3...
LOL,
I thought all you Xbox fans were saying that LBP is just a game for 10 year old kids. But now that Microsoft has a game that's supposed to "rival" LBP, now you think differently? Shut up PP, you make a joke of yourself everytime you comment.
I think that there needs to be a Universal Systematic way for reviewers to review all games so that reviewer bias comes into the equation as little as possible. I still consider IGN and EGM to be one of the most unbiased review sites out there right now.
The outcome of a review can sometimes be dependant on WHO actually reviews the game in the first place.
If you look in EGM's magazine, they have 3 different people to give their own score of the same game, and most ...
It's ironic how they said that R2 has "less than stellar graphics", but Halo 3 sure wasn't too much of a graphical powerhouse, yet it got tons of perfect review scores and high 9's. Heck, even Gears of War 1 had better graphics than Halo 3 and Gears came out about a year before Halo 3 did.
Resistance 2's graphics may not be better than COD4's (that's where Killzone 2 comes in and fills the void), but I'm pretty sure that R2's graphics are better than Halo 3's.
...
LOL,
"they've ruined the hole game"
It's whole, not "hole".
Go back to first grade PP and learn how to spell.
@ RAF-TECH
Yeah, that's about all Microsoft can do this generation is "steal exclusives" because if they didn't do that, they would have very little games in the first place just like the Original Xbox.
While Microsoft is out wasting money on exclusive DLC and "stealing exclusives" that will still come out on the Playstation 3, Sony has been making plenty of brand new IP's and alredy has plenty of announced brand new IP's in the works.
@ Omega4
If SquareEnix actually had plans of bringing FF versus XIII to the 360, I think that they would have announced that back at E3 this year along with FFXIII going multi. If anyone wants the full Final Fantasy experience you'll just have to get a PS3 and it's as simple as that.
Plus, Tetsuya Nomura is one of the lead designers for Versus XIII and he's a huge Playstation fan. The chances of Versus XIII going multi. is very small, and the chances of Kingdom Heart...
I honestly don't see what's so special about Left 4 Dead...it's just a Zombie shooter.... and does the game even have a story at all?
As far as I'm concerned, Resistance 2 > Left 4 Dead, and Killzone 2 > Left 4 Dead. Left 4 Dead just doesn't have the EPIC look, feel, or presence that Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 have in my opinion.
Even if L4D was coming to the PS3, I surely wouldn't be buying it until it hit the bargin bin or I wouldn't be buying it at all.
All I've to say is LOL @ Microsoft.
You can always count on Sony to come out with a new, fresh, or innovative game title before someone else does, but you definantly don't see Microsoft doing that.
"Boku" will always be seen as a carbon-copy of LBP though unless there is something that really sets this game apart from LBP.... heck, by the time Boku comes out LBP2 will probably wont be that far away from release.
I wouldn't be surprised if these pics were actual in-game graphics.
To me it seems as though the futher the PS3 progresses and the more developers tap into the PS3's full potential, the more people get confused between actual in-game graphics and CGI.... Just to give you an example, when that Resistance 2 teaser trailer was first shown EVERYONE thought that it was CGI, but it turned out to be running in real-time.
Trophies in MGS4 would be nice, but it's not something that I really care for because unlocking Emblems in MGS4 is good enough for me, but if MGS4 did have Trophies, I'm pretty sure that there would be a TON of them.
But, it still would be awesome if this Rumour turned out to be true though.
Metal Gear Solid 4 can be an easy game or it can be a hard game depending on how you play it.
If you just run through the game killing every enemy in sight then MGS4 wont be that hard, but if you actually play the game the way it was meant to be played by being stealthy for the entire game while using No rations,Killing No one and playing on the hardest diffuculty, then MGS4 can be VERY hard.
@ Capital G,
You think that MGS4 flopped in sales?
When MGS4 came out, the PS3's installbase was probably somewhere around 15 Million and so far MGS4 has sold 3-4 Million copies.
Do you realize that MGS3 didn't even sell 4 million copies and the PS2's installbase was probably near 100 million or over 100 million whenever that game came out?
MGS4 has sold considerably well so far considering the PS3's much smaller installbase and as the PS3's...
@milesd6,
MGS4 has little replay value?
You can't even unlock everything in MGS4 by playing the game one time.
When I played MGS4 for the second time around, I found items and guns that I didn't find the first time and I went in places that I didn't go in while during my first playthrough.
MGS4 is still my favorite MGS game and is one of my favorite games of all time.
I don't think that anyone can fully appreciate MGS4 unless th...
"They're cool, they're affordable - and they could be harder to find if you wait until Christmas."
I couldn't agree more with that.
Despite what the gaming media claims, I think that PS3 IS an affordable price for what you get. I don't see anyone climbing down Apple's throat for selling a $399 32 GB Ipod touch whenever there's plenty of other MP3 music players that the competition is selling for half the price.... the 80GB PS3 for $399 makes the 32GB Ipod T...
I agree, and why does the title of the video read "Baby 2 vs Vegeta?". The title should be fixed and read "Videl vs Dabura."
I noticed that there some of the same exact moves and same exact finishing moves from previous games. I haven't bought a DBZ game since Budokai 2. And as far as the story goes, the DBZ series only has one story, so it's not like the story is going to be any different.
I'm a huge DBZ fan, but There's only so much that you can...
