people are so critical of HOME... If you don't like it don't participate. It's that simple. Don't spend your life complaining about it. I can really care less about HOME and I think most gamers are in the same boat. Although I believe HOME is mainly trying to attract the casual crowd. The same type of people who play the Sims, Harvest Moon, or own a Wii. Right now at $400 HOME is not very attractive to that crowd but as the PS3 becomes more affordable and adds more features I think the ...
Isn't because SONY can't it's because it's a big profit maker for the Playstation brand. Chances are they are making $50 off every PS2 which adds up very quickly. Especially when the PS3 is losing money. I think SONY will probably lower the PS2 price by this time next year...
For probably a couple of years. The worst thing about a slow economy is that technology also slows since companies are less likely to invest millions in technology they are not sure about. Hopefully they can still advance Blu-ray and cell technology enough to drop the price of a PS3...
This is super great news.... I can't wait to hear.
I think it will turn heads. Not just in the gaming community but the media. When something looks as amazing as God of War III will there will be a fair share of the media talking about it and the PS3...
Although I think he made the statement so that he wouldn't start any wars. Obviously Jaffe is a gamer and wants to be taken seriously. He is not going to make some crazy fanboy statement so that 360 fans hate him...
The story should be single player... I would love to see some online added in... Like Deathmatch and maybe some other games...
But it is nice to see the consoles still doing very well. Great news for gamers... It would be nice to see the PS3 reach that 20 million mark...
is these stores don't do any formal training. In stores where you should be more informed than just someone who plays games. It's unfortunate they don't train in proper customer service. I think these issues would be non-existent.
announcing anything new. They are just beginning to pick up momentum and I don't believe they are going to sink their 360 ship this early. We may end up seeing a newly designed 360 slim for the holiday 09 season...
It's not as bad as when the PS3 first came out. I went with my brother back in Jan. 07 to get a PS3 when they were hardly available. The Gamestop employees actually argued with him over why the PS3 was inferior to anything on the market. These guys were all spewing convoluted lies. What's even more sad is that they have no problem spreading the lies to the consumers. I have never found a vocal PS3 fanboy working at a videogame store.
So come 12 to 18 months from now everyone could have a good laugh. People were giving the doomsday routine back in early 2007 before SONY did their first price drop... Let's be realistic. Companies like SONY know how valuable the video games division is. If anything they will even put more money into it since gaming is one of the only growing industries in a dire economy...
It pedo as in pedophile. Plus because someone is trying to hit on someone does not make them a pedophile. Get a grip and get in reality. It's a parent responsibility to monitor their children's activity. I don't think children younger than teens should be in that environment in the first place.
I have HOME accounts in Japan and Europe and it's kinda fun to just hang around and see what they have...
Since the beta began I have been a participant. The only thing that has really changed is the environments. Although HOME was really boring in the past because no one participated. Now when I go into HOME there are people everywhere. That is really what makes it. It's a place to socialize. When people go the bar or clubs they are not looking for tons of things to do... They are generally looking to socialize and hook up with those of the opposite sex. That is how I kind of see HOME mi...
Account.... It's that simple. If you want access to things in the other HOME's that's all you have to do.
Know that it is more than just one inning, quarter, or period that makes the game. If it were baseball SONY would have lost 2 to 1 in that inning. Obviously there are several more to go. Gauging a console race by one month or even year is rather immature. Secondly is SONY really competing against the other consoles or themselves. I am sure they have a goal for the PS3 to sell so many consoles over it's lifetime. Whether or not that is enough to overtake the other consoles is irrelevant....
Think a game has to sell a million in it's first week. The PSone and PS2 have both proven that SONY games rely on word of mouth. Very few have had big openings. Most games gain momentum over their lifetime and rack up amazing numbers. SONY knows that instead of building up a hype train and spending millions upon millions advertising they will let the game speak for itself. Nintendo does the same thing and I don't think it has ever hurt them...
Microsoft has proven that most ...
You sound like someone just being a fanboy... I played Warhawk, Resistance, and LBP online and have rarely ever had problems. So I am calling you bogus...
The demand for HOME is enoromous, probably even more so than HALO 3 in it's first week and we know the problems they had with that. So just be a little patient.
One of my friends was playing it and said it's like a 2d Warhawk... So if it's anything like Warhawk I am all in...
You can't beat $10 for a game.
