a big deal... The game still has a couple of weeks and possibly pre-orders will increase. A couple of weeks ago I checked at my local Gamestop and the employee said pre-orders are half what they would be for a game like Madden. SONY needs to up their game and get the advertising rolling. I am still waiting to see the first commercial. SONY's conservative style may end up biting them in the rear end.

Yes people can buy stuff on Live for free but I doubt most who have Silver memberships are. I think in the long run it will pay off more for SONY giving simple and free access to people. This game really looks awesome. Some of the best looking players on any sports game I have played so far. They have really improved the series. This is the third show on the PS3 and every year it improves massively.

some gamers have become so spoiled or lazy they expect the game to do everything for them. I love a challenge and that is what makes Killzone 2 a lot of fun. I wasn't sold on the demo the firs time I tried it but after a couple of tries I really enjoy it. It is very challenging and you have to do a lot of work to get an accurate shot off. I think that is what well sell me on this game...
everyday to tell us how well the Killzone 2 preorders are going??? It's a little silly I would think since the game is still a few weeks from release. Let's wait and see how everything pans out before we do our daily updates...
I expect SONY to offer a similar service in the future with Blockbuster. Maybe it won't happen. I don't really care about movies off my game console. I enjoy having t.v.shows much more. I guess there is quite a large market becoming available in the movie download business and it may actually dictate a large audience when the next generation begins. It's not just about videogames anymore. These consoles are becoming super computers capable of everything from your living room.

the PS3 is still getting great third party support... The Saturn lost much of it's third party support. Developers are learning how to utilize the PS3 and it's quite rewarding for those who enjoy a few challenges. SONY also has a major fanbase that continues to support the Playstation platform. I don't see why so many are so compelled to see the PS3 fail... It's as if they believe the world would be better if we only have two consoles... Which if that were the case you could say goodbye...
