As far as reviews are concerned it's hard to trust many reviewers just because the whole review standard is screwed. Games are different than movies. You really need at least two people reviewing each game because it's easy to get very different opinions. There are many adults who use games as a source of entertainment and this is what the public wants. Games like this sell in the tens of millions for several reasons. One of those is the realism.
I don't think I ever remember a time with so many blockbuster type games in such a short amount of time. Amazon is going to get real aggressive to sell these. I can imagine seeing some even bigger sales in another few weeks for those who are patient.
