G4 has been dead to me since the Tech TV merger where they cancelled every awesome show they had and just had Xplay and Attack of the Show (which I didn't even like as much as G4s own programs prior).
In Nintendo's defense, January is typically not a very fruitful month when it comes to video games sales.
So Ubisoft is delaying the game so it can be released at the same time as a bunch of other huge titles. Oh that sounds familiar. Sounds exactly like what killed Rayman Origins, releasing it on the same day as Halo CEA, ACR, Need for Speed, Saints Row 3, etc.
So now they figure they should compete with GTA V and Nintendo's fall software.
You're totally right I didn't read the article. I shouldn't have to read some sort of disclaimer to look at some screenshots.
And I've seen The Witcher on max settings. It looks great, as does this. But my point was that I don't see the huge gap in graphical quality that would be expected between a current gen game that has some nice dx11 tricks, and its next gen sequel running on a different engine.
Link?
I don't understand why people think this isn't Halo 5.
Honestly it doesn't look much better than the Witcher 2 if at all to me. Not sure why they wouldn't bring this to Wii U since the Xenoblade sequel looked about graphically on par with this thing.
If these douchebag politicians spent as much time explaining the plotholes in the "official" sandy hook story as they did trying to ban violent video games, we'd have a much better country to live in.
Now that George Andreas is gone from Rare, I don't see a sequel to Kameo happening, despite the somewhat cliffhanger ending it had.
In all fairness Otogi was published by Sega and developed by From Software. Not really in Microsoft's hands.
What a dumb bitch.
You're neither rewarded nor encouraged to even kill prostitutes in GTA. Yea some of them might drop some money you can take but she makes it out to be like the game is sending the message that it's good to kill people and prostitutes. I have the freedom to hack away at chickens in Zelda but that doesn't mean the game is about that or encourages me to do so.
I think so. Jak II is a huge departure, but Jak 3 is probably the best. Has a great medium between the shooting seen in Jak II and the more traditional platforming bits from PL.
I'd love a new Jak games (especially over another UC game), but I just don't know where they can go story-wise that's compelling enough to revisit the series.
If nothing else, hopefully they bring us another platforming series. As good as UC is, it's somewhat generic in setting especially compared to the likes of Jak's fantastical universe
Why is R/S/E so high up on this list? It took out more features than it added. No doubt that D/P/P should have been higher than it.
: (
No shot of Kameo 2 now I guess since he was one of the main driving forces behind the first one.
The only thing I'd be worried about platinum messing up is the story/voice acting. But yea graphically darksiders has always been "meh" from a technical perspective, and it's combat, though solid, has never rivaled other high level action games like Bayonetta, DMC, or even Ninja Gaiden. Platinum could definitely beef up those aspects of the game pretty easily.
Not a very good list IMO. Don't get me wrong I'd like a new eevelution or two, but I'd much rather have new gameplay features over this stuff.
Possibly? No it is.
It's not the revolution that OoT was, but it's easily the most refined post-OoT game in the series. TP and SS were both great entries, but both had some severe issues. The only thing that could possibly hold WW back is the one triforce fetch quest at the end, but when you have to single out certain quests to find faults in a game that speaks volumes about its overall quality.
In regards to the grass/moss, from what it looks like they aren't changing the games geometry. Just looks like a reskin with some lighting enhancements.
Honestly it always takes me longer to beat these games than what these early reviews always say. And game length also in no way reflects the quality of the experience.
I beat Journey in almost one sitting and it was probably the best game I played all year.
But nevertheless it is a little disappointing to hear it is that length, especially given how lengthy Crysis 2's campaign was compared to other modern shooters
