The game the Wii U gamepad has been dying for this whole time. All we need now is Pokemon Snap wii u and we're set!
All of these ex rare guys just need to form a new studio under Nintendo.
THAT FUCKING ROAD TEXTURE THO
Because Sony tried saying Killzone's trailer was real-time when it was not.
A big focus on MP? I can never stand to hear that. So that means we'll get another fairly weak 6 hour campaign like Halo 4's
Dear out of touch biblethumping old farts in congress,
Give the fuck up.
Sincerely,
Everyone
I support the idea of this and hopefully it gathers enough attention for Bioware to go ahead and put out a real KotOR 3, but I really do not want an outside dev (Obsidian included) working on a game in this series.
Wooo more god of war, not.
Seriously though, I love GoW and support the idea of sequels for games that legitimately have massive room for fresh ideas and innovation, but storywise GoW has been wrapped up pretty nicely (though the ending of 3 leaves enough room for a sequel to be made if necessary), and gameplaywise I really don't know what new elements could be implemented. Destructible environments? Open world? Idk, but I just feel like the series has already peaked and ...
Actually really optimistic about this.
Knuckles is way to yoked looking, but overall I like the direction of this.
How this game doesn't run in 1080p blows my mind. Graphically this thing is a freaking turd and barely runs 60fps and 720, whereas Forza 5 looks fantastic AND runs at 60fps AND 1080p. No excuse
Ugh Halo 4 only came out 2 years ago. How do you expect a dev to rebuild their tech for a new system and crank out a title the scope of a Halo game in that time?
I hope this is only referring to a beta because this game should not come out this year.
THAT RAIN THO
Sign me up for this. Buy platinum games, sega, and acquire a big core game exclusive, and Ninty would be off to a good recovery for the Wii U
These guys are awesome. I wish them the best.
They already have an appealing price.
The things they need to do is first get 3rd parties back on board, get some new core IP or ressurect some forgotten IP (starfox, fzero, etc.), overhaul their online infrastructure (I don't see this one happening), and I think most importantly properly market the damn thing and communicate what the Wii U is and the value of the screen on the controller.
Im going to buy a Wii U just for this game. I have to admit, normally I'm quite jaded in the sense that I can't stand all of these 2d revivals and Nintendo making their franchises take a step backwards (NSMB, Metroid Other M, etc.) instead of in bold new directions, but DKCR surprised me hugely and quickly became my favorite Wii title.
I must admit I'm getting a bit sick of these types of articles, but glad this one is actually very constructive.
Ugh give this series a rest Microsoft.
In a perfect world they would push Halo 5 back to next year and release Halo 2 Anniversary this year.
Dumb. If Microsoft ever wants Kinect to be meaningfully integrated into games, they'd be smart to include it with every system. Developers don't want to sink huge budgets into a game that requires an accessory that only a fraction of the system's install base owns.
