Just one step closer for Rare coming back to Nintendo. I would love for Chris and a lot of the other old core team members to just reform under a new name with Nintendo again.
Looks great, but I'm not wowed. I feel like Crysis 2 on PC already looked that good.
The demo was great. DMC fans can suck it.
Dante's hair sucks and there's no lock on. God damn I hate everything about this series' fans. If this was DMC5 I would understand some of the criticism, especially regarding the art direction, but I guess this series' moronic fanbase can't seem to grasp this is a reboot. I guess the new Tomb Raider blows because Lara's tits aren't as big as they used to be. Seriously, DMC fans can suck it.
Maybe Platinum's combat with Ninja Theory's storytelling?
Why do the fans of the series not understand this is a reboot? Yea the combat system is different. Yea the art direction is different. If this would DMC5 I would see reason to complain, but because this is a reboot I don't understand the complaining.
The demo both played and looked great.
I'm actually not opposed to a new Star Fox having some on foot segments, so long as they aren't horrible. But i'd still prefer a 70-30 split between vehicle sections and on foot sections.
As long as its a great universe and is doing something new on the gameplay front, I have no problems with another shooter franchise.
Though I must say I would rather have a new platforming or action/adventure series instead.
I always thought Killer Freaks looked much more interesting. Im happy Ubi at least still kept the multiplayer mode in the final game, but I feel like the single player experience would have fared much better as KF given how repetitive/not great the combat in ZombiU has been reported to be.
The first ME looked good for it's time but by the time even ME2 came out UE3 was already looking dated. I couldn't be happier they are changing tech.
You can choose a higher difficulty if you want.
The demo was great. Best combat system in any of Ninja Theory's games.
This series' fanbase is a bunch of whiny superficial turds.
Yea because we should judge the system's power based on a bunch of 3rd party ports that were slapped together in time for launch. Great idea.
I mean, the Wii U version COULD be better looking, but that's not the case since all Wii U owners got was a straight port and not a version built from the ground up graphically for the system.
Herp derp Dante looks like emo faggg. Game = bad because of bad haircut. Stupid Capcom herp derp.
Not going to give this site hits.
Seriously though, is this just a troll article?
People played Vanquish for the story?
Seriously though, this game slayed. Reviewing just the story of it really distracts from what the game is really about - F%CKING ACTION
What's sad is that this guy doesn't even mention the big problems with the game. He's too busy nitpicking over the HUD (which looks great in this game actually).
If he wanted to complain about something it should be how bad the story is in the later part of the game, how inconsistent the art direction is for the Didact/Prometheans to the rest of the Forerunner crap, the addition of join in progress and how teams are rarely even, the addition of CoD like gameplay e...
To be honest, it didn't live up to the hype for me. I'm not a big fan of a lot of the MP changes, the art direction for the Forerunners/prometheans were totally inconsistent with the design language of the forerunners, the score didn't have any iconic/memorable tracks like the old games, and I wasn't a big fan of the direction they took the story in the last half of the game. Still probably an 8/10 for me though.
CE did the most for the FPS genre out of the series, so I'd probably just have to give it to the original.
But if I'm judging every game by today's standards then it has to be Halo Reach. It's probably the most well-rounded game in the series, and easily has more content in it than any other.
I don't see what is sexist about this. It's a suggestive ad that might be inappropriate for young kids to look at, but I don't see how this in any way prejudice towards women.
