Wait, launching campaign's to tarnish the PS4's name? Oh you mean like how Sony's entire campaign has been for the past 3 months?
Nintendo should have nailed exclusivity of this game. That would have moved so many systems.
Thank god they didn't axe these features. The driveatar features, which were only possible through the cloud, they were talking about in Forza 5 sound incredible, and I'd be pissed if they let a bunch of ignorant kids on the internet take that away from me.
Still not buying another DBZ game until Dimps is the developer again.
Fuck are people still complaining about the Kinect?
Unplug the thing when you're X1 is turned off so that it can't "spy" on you. Microsoft needed to either get rid of Kinect altogether or make sure it was included in every box. Existing as it is on 360, just as a peripheral, is just going to lead us down the path of Kinect games that already exist, as in crappy low budget casual nonsense.
Why the hell would a developer devote a large amount ...
Cool, people can finally quit complaining.
Though I was somewhat excited about the whole never having to use a disc thing and being able to share downloaded stuff. I wish there would have been a way to accommodate both parties.
Seeing how Battlefront was essentially just a star wars themed BF clone, of course they are the best fit for the job.
Normally I would care, but I know a lot of times devs have to cut corners and crunch to get games ready for a new console launch. If this type of stuff wasn't in the next entry then there's cause for concern.
Only 2 complaints I have with this game is that the on foot combat is sooo close to CoD, and also graphically this game really does look like a 360 game, no exaggeration. For such a high profile title it really bums me out that it has such low production values.
Not gonna lie I was expecting something more groundbreaking than this, but nevertheless it looks quite fun. It seems like a very simple, safe Mario game, but I hope Nintendo doesn't consider this the next big step forward for 3d mario titles like 64 and Galaxy were.
Holy shit, first numerical FF sequel I will ever buy. This game looks incredible.
Kameo was a great new IP. Despite PDZs horrific story/voice acting was a solid shooter. Viva Pinata is one of the best sim/strategy games of this gen. And even though Nuts and Bolts was radically different, it was still a great game even if wasn't the sequel we all wanted.
I'm pretty sure Rare's Microsoft portfolio dwarfs Double Helix's.
I wouldn't go as far as to say terrible, but yea they are underwhelming, even compared to generations. Looks like they may have just ported over the engine used for Sonic Colors or something.
The dualshock won the controller award? Really?
I know he's been working on indie-ish games lately. I really want him to work on a core game for the console. Honestly, they just need to grab all of the ex-key staff from Rare and just form a new studio under Nintendo and pick up where they left off.
This really isn't a fair comparison. You're comparing a company who sets the benchmark in graphics to a company whose still using the quake 3 engine...
That was the only part I found a bit unbelievable, but the leaker gave information to Pokebeach a while ago that all ended up being true so it seems like a legit source.
Tons of exclusives? So Halo 4, Gears 4, Forza 5, and some garbage casual game from Rare that no one wants?
But cynicism aside, I'm excited. Microsoft's first 3 or 4 years this gen were amazing, but over the past few years they've lost more and more 1st party developers and lost some exclusive franchises too. They need to really wow us.
There's been a decent amount on the handheld systems I feel like.
But really, JRPGs do need to evolve. I have no complaints with the androgynous male pretty boy lead characters, the anime inspired art style, etc.
But JRPGs really need a kick in the pants. They have remained fairly stagnant over the last decade. Tighten up the storytelling and predictable character archetypes and IMO one of the more important fixes that needs to happen is more/better non-c...
People are idiots.
