Agreed. The generation is meant to be peaking around now but to me it continues to be a fruitless wait for some decent single player games that don't contain super heroes.

On balance, I think both Sony and Microsoft are having an awful generation, that said XBox is just off the charts bad. They wouldn't even be in business without the parent company.

Contractors take 6 months to become productive and a further 6 months to become proficient. It’s completely nuts to show them the door at that point. Contract devs are a tricky proposition at the best of times and certainly not the panacea that senior leadership often think.
Sony have stopped trying, they have no competition so why bother? The highlight will be a crappy hzd remaster that no one wants.
The PS3 may have caught up thanks to low level Japanese racism but overall any rational person would acknowledge the 360 was the better machine with the superior library of games.

If the ps5 pro is a success Sony will continue to behave as they did in the ps3 era. Don’t reward them.

They don't even have a single new game built to show it off, just upscaled versions of games we already played. It's hugely disrespectful to the fans to try and pull this stunt.
This is PS3 Sony all over again, taking success for granted and thinking everyone will fall in line and pay. Not a chance, i'll look forward to the Switch 2 and wait for PS6 (if they are lucky). This generation is a disaster.
