I prefer to fight the horrors attempting to get me in games.... So Evil Within would be my choice.
Ranking the post cod4 era COD games I'd go
1) Modern Warfare 2 - Crazy campaign, amazing multiplayer with tons of content, and Spec ops was awesome. It was basically COD 4 but with some new ideas and more of it.
2) COD4 - Maybe the best COD campaign, classic multiplayer that I could still pick up and play today.
3) Black Ops 2 - Campaign was good but it wasn't as well made as the rest of the series. But the multiplayer was the best outside of MW2 and ...
How does this blatant fanboy get seven agrees vs. two disagrees lol. "PS4 the win" lol I don't play games for a specific company.
So far this gen quality exclusives has not equaled sales. Sony has had easily the weakest exclusive lineup but has the most sales. While Microsoft and nintendo have churned out some truly great game that have not equaled a drastic raise in sales.
Sonic the Hedgehog for Sega Genesis
Im tired of people saying COD is exactly the same every year (which isn't always true) when other franchises get no similar criticism. How similar is each God of War game? What changed between a few new tricks and new story from GOW 1-3? But people myself included adore those games. What about Halo? How has Halo's gameplay changed besides minor tweaks? And don't say that it adds revolutionary new modes because COD adds new modes all the time. What about Uncharted? What has Unchart...
It comes down to this. If you love the survival horror genre. Buy it, it's a must play for any horror fan. If you don't like survival horror, stay away you'll dislike the game.
Simple as that.
We don't need a certain game to signify the start of next gen. This gen started the day that the Wii U, Ps4 and Xbox One were all released.
It wasn't unbalanced lol. All the guns and perks were great. The strategy of the game came from picking between which great perk to choose. Everyone used different ones. For example in the red perk slot people had to choose between cold blooded, stopping power, hardline, lightweight ect... all the perks were complete and useful so you had to pick the best one for your class type and what you were going for. And you would use that class you pick in accordance to the map you were on. All t...
Well 2009 was an awesome year for games. Uncharted 2, COD MW2, Batman Arkham Asylum, Left 4 Dead 2. 2010 had God of War 3, Mass Effect , Read Dead Redemption ect....
It's definitely been one of the weaker years for gaming in recent memory. No game this year has been close to as good as The Last of Us (not really fair), Bioshock Infinite, GTAV or Tomb Raider.
Next year on the other hand......
Agreed. The two best games of 2012 were the two space epics. Halo 4 and Mass Effect 3 were easily my favorites that year.
Ok so this sight better post an article for this every time a game gets its last dlc pack or I'm just gonna label them Sony fanboys.
Titanfall isn't on this list but The Last of Us remastered is???? "Please....
The Last of Us may be one of the greatest game ever but it didn't release this year!!!!! I'd much rather see Titanfall, South Park TSOT, or even Destiny. At least Wolfenstein made the cut.
Switch Quantum Break with the Order and not bad.
@RAFFwaff Masterchief didn't become a real character until Halo 4.
I think its safe to say Halo 4>Destiny. And I don't think many people saw that coming at all.
Agreed 100%. Its a dark horse goty contender. Of all the overhyped games its the closest any came to delivering.
Thank you for being sensible.
Yeah it looks amazing ONLY ON PLAYSTATION!!! ////s/s/s/s/s/s//sss
