DICE is doing a fantastic job in their attempt to take initiative in the FPS genre. Can't wait to see if their effort produces solid work
Yeah, the MW2 news was tough to swallow. It was amazing listening to the original podcast when EVERYONE went silent. The next to speak said something along the lines of, "the silence you are hearing is shock"
DICE is doing a very good job at slamming IW right now - BF BC2 might see huge sales on PC. It'll be nice if it is even remotely like BF2.
DICE grew up on the PC, I don't think they will leave it anytime soon :)
Yeah, and according to IW that makes noobs happier :/
BF BC2 will have dedi servers :P
This will be our last update regarding this story unless there is serious news reporting the return of dedicated servers.
Sorry PC gamers, we tried our best.
Yeah, 95k now. I think the retailer typically gets $10 and the manufacturer gets somewhere around the same. I have no stats to back that up, I've just heard through the grapevine. If that has any truth at all to it, then Acti/IW get $40x# of unsold copies
First of all, it's not called call of duty 4, it's just cod: MW2.
I suggest you research what a dedicated server is.
There is a boycott in full swing. Several large clans have stated they will not be buying the game. A handful of pro-league gamers have stated similar - see here:

Infinity Ward has responded, check here: http://n4g.com/pc/NewsCom-4...
rofl @ Darkeyes, the imagery is great.
At least learn how to spell Ardenia before reviewing it... epic fail.
delete this post, moved to gamer zone.
At Dell we've been using Vista on our corporate boxes for a long time. It's no big news. XP is still the most used OS though, and it will stay that way until Win7 is fully tested and proven worthy by the community.
Not everyone is jumping this boat - don't be so ambitious about reporting rumors like this. DICE executive battlefield producer said, "Dedicated servers FTW. Anything that improves the gaming experience is a given for us."
I hope that all PC Gamers are also revoking their pre-orders - I pulled mine yesterday.
Hardware, that's what. Plain and simple.
It is irrelevant - if gamers are unhappy with this release, they will not even consider buying future releases. We win.
