I was told almost exactly the same thing by Gamestop employee and he mentioned also that 360's internal DVD will be replaced by HD DVD drive for about $100 and MS is already negotiating to bring Resistance and Motorstorm to 360

I believe that buttons are temperature sensitive so actually part of (A)LIVE human must touch it to operate.
But PSP is handheld game system. You charged it and use it. Nothing else need it like TV for example.
PS3 is different. Even though games are region free, movies are not and therefor functionality as BD player is kind of lost.
You may not care about movies but this is how it is.
After console is officially released in Japan you can buy it legally from any Japanese distributor. But it would be illegal to import (by buying thousands of consoles) to the country where it has not been officially released (In this case Hong-Kong) for the purpose of resale and not private use.
Two main reasons.
1. No control over price. They could sell it for E-Bay Prices.
2. Official distributor is always obligated to accept return and provide you with option...
You are partly right. They use the same software do design, create environment, model game good and bad guys. But then you have to put code that will be specific to and taking advantage of the platform.

Not all games will be huge especially at launch. We just have to wait for a while and see which company was right.
I like BD as storage and hd video player and I HAVE NO PROBLEM PAYING for it.
At least Sony put some new technology into PS3 besides better CPU and GPU. I upgrade my PC regularly, new CPU,GPU, MB but somehow nobody calls my PC next gen.

HDMI carries both HD video and HD audio signal.
Isn't VGA only for video signal and not BOTH. I'm also pretty sure that VGA is carries anolog signal not digital.
How this is resolved in HDDVD Drive for XBOX?
Why would anyone want to waste TIME to improve compression if you don't have to. TIME is money.
I actually like what PS3($600) offers as package and I bet most console buyer purchase some accessories in first 2 weeks.
To have wireless internet connection , bluetooth , 1gb Ethernet , SATA!! hard drive,flash memory card reader, OS, HDMI and next gen BD players all in one box with one cord is very functional design.
Buying new faceplate won't change your console experience but the components included in PS3 most people will find useful if not now than maybe in 1 or...

Logitech usually does very good job with controllers.
IMO logitech design is much better then original PS2 pad
Vegas and DVD Architect are really good.
Buy 10 games and it will cost you almost $600.
For me extra $200 is worth it Blu-Ray, PC functionality and wireless.
I have never said that there are no Next Gen games on 360. I'm just very curious why when promoting your console of choice fans keep mentioning mostly future release titles like there is nothing out now.
Personally I think GRAW is the best looking game on 360 (did not see GoW ) and can stand on its own against any title at this time.
