Or the arcade game Jail Break, duhh.
Looks okay, but looks like an XNA game too. I dunno...
Stuff like the rending engine and sound engine and even game engine most are finalized before alpha. Just not the levels. The graphics won't change for the final release.
COD3*
COD4 still is pretty popular, even with myself. I typo'd the original.
Nope, but you commented on a article that is pretty much just all about the hype, so I think it's a fair post. :)
This. Plus, there's always that one thing that most people don't give two craps about, but then the 1% that thinks violence in videogames is the end of the world sue it up and everyone then makes a big deal about it.
That's a sign that the game its self is done for. And this one's even more done since the story for MW3 was already out. You don't even have to buy the game if you care for the story, and don't have to buy the game if you want the multipla...
The Battlefield fans have been needing a real game for a while, and it looks great so the hype is deserved. I don't mind it, as long as it's a good game. I'm more interested on if it'll have good single players as DICE is still developing in that way. BFBC was pretty boring to me, and BFBC2 actually was a campaign I liked to finish, so they seem to improve in everything they do even today 10 years later. This will innovate by putting realism with solid game play together in th...
That's why even today Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, and others are still talked about, while a game as recent as COD4 is NOT. They'll never understand, just leave the sheep to graze and poop in the pasture.
I bought this and wasn't impressed. A dead-simple to implement movement system that has dragon warrior type movement but not graphics or feel just doesn't do that great. I know it's not supposed to be a new game but bringing a bunch of nostalgic elemtents into it, but the gameplay just needs too have a better vibe and general game to develop around and not just based on it being based on retro RPG's. And sadly I must say I love retro RPG's and only play them, but this just...
Microsoft shouldn't buy ANY game studios. After what they did with RARE, hell no! Took an amazing game company and ran it straight into the ground. Never should that happen again.
Yep, and best of all in the Battlefield games there's little villages or even buildings in the middle of hills, valleys, rivers, etc. So it's not all one thing like in BFBC where it's buildings, a little land, and then more buildings too. It's a huge area of everything in between the buildings and such. You'll love it. And no, never.... :P
BFBC2 isn't going to give you the full scope of any real Battlefield game, you'll be surprised how much more vast and open the gameplay is with this new game I hope. On a real Battlefield game, every map is like Harvest Day, except....bigger....much bigger. :D
That's the point of companies. Just like the rest of them.
The beginning of the end of crap developers and quality smaller developers like DICE finally getting recognized for their years of amazing work. Finally! :D
Although I'm sure it's built in house and not polished, they could mean what the build number means. I mean it's obviously an editor, but the title of it could be made to say what file it's editing, which would to me coincide with standard operation of a program of any sort, like titles on HTML pages. Like the article of the page in the title. :)
Funny picture, but who cares about the peace of mind crap? >.>
That's very plausible, but the build number in the title? I dunno....
Modern games, whatever. But HD remakes of games that don't conform to it should be kept down. Like the NES has 256x240 graphics. That doesn't go into full 1080P evenly. As long as they just multiple the size of teach pixel by 4 or 3 for 4x4 or 3x3 dots for them, I'm fine. But don't stretch the image, that just makes it look BAD. For PS1 games sure go full HD and make better textures and stuff, but for 2D games just keep it the same aspect.
This isn't leaked, it's faked you stupid article namer. But still is as creepy as hell....
Stupid people are to blame, obviously.
