You're eyes see about 25FPS. You must consider 60 vs 30 frames per second a deal breaker with your superhuman vision.
Well they don't have a "Tent" accessory, so that's why a lot of people hate. Even though it has Dinosaurs, which should automatically put it way above any and all competitors. ;)
Lol at the 3rd tier of the Navigator perk. Scrambler is the worst perk, it gives away your exact position if you're playing with good people. And Bandolier AND Juggernaut? WHAT? Stupid. I hope these ones aren't real, either.
But the head of a running object is 10x harder to hit and not worth it. I go for body shots all day, because if it drops, you hit the body and get a kill anyway! But now you're going to have to aim at nothing above the head all day? Pfft.
That goes against the rules of snipers, as all military snipers aim for the CHEST in case you didn't know.
"Obviously in real life you can kill with one to the body" [Not really, to the abdomen is a kill, but same difference.]
"It gives the game a more realistic feel."
You're a contradiction. Getting shot in the chest means DEATH. That's realism for you.
Since when was quick scoping a problem in BFBC2?
2 hit snipers? Looks like I'll NEVER EVER be using that class. That's the WHOLE POINT of them! Along with the scope flash when lying down, they nurfed it and put everything against them, it shouldn't even be in the game now. I am actually disappointed, DICE. And that'd the first time I've ever said that.
Perks take center spot over core game play because they're the only thing that's changed some...
That's going to be one of the biggest gaming pasture...I mean...convention of the year maybe! ;) :P
Megaman Legends 3....oh wait, they scrapped that. I couldn't care less about Capcom now.
As long as it stays small like this, I'll keep buying. But if you start to only get games via digital distribution, I'm out. I'm not NOT having a hard copy, because in this day and age that's all you have for proof of you own it. You buy it digitally with the points system on all of these consoles and if it says you downloaded it and your consoles doesn't agree [Has happened twice with me on 360] and they say redownload it. If that doesn't work, you're SOL. And it ...
He actually chose a language that he was familiar with since he's been working with Minecraft so long.
And Blades is right. Although C/C++ isn't anywhere near assembly either, C# and Java are way far away.
And a game without bugs doesn't mean good programming. I myself kinda find it hard to have bugs as I test each piece of code separate from the program so that WHATEVER numbers it's reading, it'll never, ever give/do false things, and I...
RAM part is right. But you gotta keep in mind that the party chat would have a 99% chance of being on a P2P connection, no way anybody would waste servers on just chat.
And servers for voice chat may process a little slow. While they are great for gaming and making sure games play smoothly and everyone can connect, they're probably 16ms or so slower. It's not bad at all, but some may notice.
Sony could easily have the RAM set aside and have games programmed not to use all 256MB and only use 248MB and have 8MB for the streaming data for the mics directly the OS could use for it, and then playing it in the background is simple too, if a game runs and has that single bit flag set for "248MB Game mode with enhanced chat." It'd work with an OS update tomorrow if they wanted it to.
It can be done, they just don't want to make it happen. Don't let ...
I'd love to see a PS3 RAM and memory map that you're referencing and see how the ram is so skewed. I mean, the programs NEVER have direct access to it, the PS3's compiler allocates the memory, the program doesn't know how weird it is.
Yeah, if you go through the code, some bugs are just so blatantly obvious that no programmer that knew what he was doing would have made them. And the fact that he closes the code from even his team members just shows that he can't figure out others code. [I have a hard time with that too as other people today waste RAM and don't care about speed, and I program in equilibrium because I do retro console programming, but sometimes I have a hard time of understanding code too if written ...
Coding isn't equal to programming, I wish the terms would be used right. Coding is HTML and CSS. Not processed or anything. Programming is more like Java, although java is inefficient, but a programmign lanuguage. Some that are even better for programming are C, Assembly, etc. Notch isn't that great of a programmer, but Notch IS a programmer, not a "coder."
And many games have been programmed in a few days. Robotron 2084's main gameplay was done in 3 day...
If AMD is so good, why did M$ dump them for AMD's x64 chips?
Intel < AMD chips in performance. You're results aren't right.
Orly?
Because he gets paid to say he likes COD and show it off. When he doesn't do that and says he likes a competitors game, Activison will be a little mad about it since everyone knows the Activision and EA relationship is in the trash for this game...
Exactly. And then as games need to get more out of it, they'll go back, learn more, optimize, and it'll become better utilized with time. I bet DX11 will be one of the last myself. It's looking sweet, not much to do after it runs it's course.
And lol, post perfect comment and still get somebody stupid to disagree. :P
The one who like standards and the fact that programming the 360 is 99% like programming a PC, He liked it for that. Getting more power out of your system doesn't mean much to developers if you have to rewrite it in a wonky way to make it work the same, without even advantages until your REALLY do a special PS3 port.
