I live in the US, but I still applied hoping I could get a beta CD for 360! :3
It wouldn't be the sole reason, but having that feature and then the free online would both combine and make me want to pick one up over my Xbox possibly.
I love how many dislikes and likes are just favoring sony hard. I guess most people think they can do no wrong. I feel bad for PS3 users, ALL DATA should be synced online free! That goes to MICRO$OFT & $ONY, actually.

But you have to realize he did 1/50000th of the code inside the whole game, don't make it seem like he's the living reason the game is awesome, because he's not.

I don't have a PS3 and think it's an okay system, but the day the PS3 gets Chrome is the day I buy one. At the same time my Xbox would get IE9 and I avoid it like the plague. >.>
Carmack also has something to do with Actisivion's COD engine. You know why? Because ID isn't a engine company, they're a technology company. They do lots of rendering stuff If you think a company like DICE and EA would need Carmack to write parts of the engine, you're wrong, they have many of people that could do the same thing inside their facilities.
If one person working on a game engine makes it 100x better than another, then why are there 100+ programmer...

Whoever expects 360/PS3 games on a Wii probably doesn't even care to look into it. Oh well.

I do NES development and can say no NES emulator is 100% yet, not even close! But SNES won't be near 95% either within 10 years I bet. Even with the NES, we're still discovering new quirks. 2 have been discovered in less than a year, even today, after 10 years of people knowing how to program it, it took 10 years to find them. SNES will be the same, you'll need 10+ years of matured development to even start to get them all uncovered. SNES hasn't had any matured development yet...
I'm all for the BF3 hype and getting a new [better] game out there, but I feel with "2,000 per cent" that something fishy is going on. :P

I have no proof? Go look at any other COD thing and see how many more likes comments about wanting a new game engine are liked more than "This will be epic!" That's my proof.
And if you look at the buyers of most COD titles, you'll see the older the people the less likely to buy. Or as we real gamers like to say, "become the sheep." Why do you think the game is so ridden with people that can't play, are scream...
All this means to me is that me hoping for a new and vastly changed and improved engine eventually are crushed. How much longer?!?!

And if you think this game has had enough improvement over the games to justify new games, I myself and most other people think you're wrong, so who's right?
Truthfully, I still go back to COD4 and it's an awesome experience. I still enjoy it every time. I swear it looks the best out of all games, too.
I think all the added extra stuff isn't really adding to the game, but taking it away. Vastly. Anyone agree?
One thing I can't complain about though is they still give you plenty of maps the first time around, that's good. still

If you didn't tell me it was different except for a few screen, I'd of thought it was a MW2 hack. But the UI change is nice for grenades and stuff. Not gonna be my first game ( ;) ) but I'll pick it up used.
And I swear, looking at COD4 screen shots, COD4 has so much better map graphics. I don't understand how that could happen.... [PC image, but 360 isn't far off of that at all]
