Where did you see that? I've been wondering why more games don't go for 40fps myself. It seems like it either has to be 30 or 60, and from everything I gather, that doesn't have to be the case.

In my view, Molyneux will always be the guy behind Theme Park World, Populous and Fable, so it's difficult for me to consider him anything but a good influence in gaming. However, he has to have someone around him who can keep his feet on the ground.

Yup! If anything, the SJWs have helped Hatred more than anyone else. They're the ones bringing attention to it, which I suspect Hatred would not be able to garner on its own merits. Look at Hatred. Then look at Alienation. Then back to Hatred.
This is what pure gameplay looks like when you're actually aiming for pure gameplay, and not shock value.

The third GIF looks borderline real. And look at how Galahad's clothes move!
Not sure if y'all know this, but Raven's Cry is sitting at a 30 on Metacritic. Criticism including there being tons of bugs and that it's not fun to play.
Here are the other points Gamespot made:
- Constant crashes, including a bug which kills all game progress
- Frame rate is choppier than the seas your ship sails on
- Combat is broken at worst and button-mashing tedium at best
- Stilted voice acting makes community theater seem ...

True that! Fighting games in particular tend to make it to arcades first.
After reading that it was only going to be for arcade, I didn't think it would look like this! It looks really awesome. I'd pay for that on any platform.

That actually looks pretty legitimate. Shadows are too detailed, along with Ratchet's fur, for this to be PS3. It doesn't quite feel like the movie, either. The background looks game-y.
Also, that's Metropolis, right? If so, my head has exploded, I think.

Why isn't five enough? What person gets out of five years of prison for swatting and thinks "Well, I think I'll do that again". Has it really gotten to the point where people consider five years in prison little?
