@kartanym
I love Candy Crush.
You're probably right, but when I think about great games on iOS, I think about strategy games and RPGs. Or The Walking Dead and Monument Valley. Not necessarily the most fun games, but still. I'll be happy to take some pointers, though.
Agree on Steam, but iOS!? That's where all the "click this building and come back in two hours"-games are.
There are many great games too, I suppose. It just feels weird to use that as an example.
Not really, I think. That question would have been very well put when everyone else asked it seven years ago, but with the indie scene booming and not that many story-heavy games being released this year, I think fun is back.
I also don't quite buy the idea that games that are about fun can have nothing else in them (not that the author wrote that in the article, he made the opposite point). The games I bought last year, like GTAV, Driveclub, LBP3 and Destiny, all have ad...
Explore and solve puzzles, I think. At least when it comes to Rime. Rime isn't so much an art game as it is an adventure game with beautiful art.
I'm sure Bayonetta is fun, but it mostly had a cult following back on PS3 and Xbox 360, and I don't see that changing on Xbox One / PS4.
Also, Pix the Cat.
Also, spelling is so incredibly terrible. Please downvote this site. Let's get this N4G spring cleanup on the road.
It's been on PS Store for some time. I'm not sure if it's on the UK PS Store, though.
“Um, I don’t know what I can say about when we’re showing things and where, and that’s really terrible of me to say, but I mean it’s gonna be shown at some point, somewhere.”
Apparently, what thegamescabin.com got from that was that it was going to be shown soon. That's really unfair to the developers, I think.
Downvote article (not site, it's a fairly small error and otherwise a well-written article) for more accuracy and less misrepresentation in ga...
"American Eagle" theme?
We finally won the war on terror :')
Also, the "Serious Cat" theme sounds great.
Hatred is cool, though
Battery life is my main gripe. Don't really feel the need to turn off the light entirely (then there would be no indication which controller is on), don't feel like longer sticks are necessary (but I get that some people do) and have never had my L1 or R1 stick. L2 and R2 do squeak, though. Also, the rubber on the sticks is indeed pretty bad. Trials Fusion murdered it.
Knack is actually rated lower than Sony's 70+ Metacritic limit. Then again, there has been exceptions to that rule. I think Ground Zeroes is very likely. Maybe some other launch games.
Do the people who approve these articles actually read them?
Does sentences like "What developer Ready at Dawn has managed to do, and that game is really that awesome to buy or pre-order." make sense to anyone?
Does forcing its reader to read zigzag between advertisements and small thumbnails seem like something a credible site would do?
Should articles be spread over four pages?
So many questions!

Dam, sun!
Nakasendo could be the best track in ANY racing game. It's incredible!
Probably because it's infringing on John Woo.
Wooo!
Not to hate on The Order, but one has to appreciate how extremely convoluted you made the premise in order for there to be no comparable games:
"How many AAA games can you find out there set in an alternate Victorian age, with an order of fanatical knights fighting a two front-war against their own people and a semi-alien race using steampunk-ish technology and weapons?"
Each and every one of these elements are pretty common, but sure, if you combin...
But still cartoony cactuars shooting insane amounts of needles, right? And Tonberries (whatever that represents)?
Then the terrorists win.
No, but I pretty much agree with the author. Fallout has been based around American culture so far, so the franchise would be moving away from its roots.
Then again, maybe we could actually learn something for once.
Zelda will undoubtledly be awesome. Pretty psyched to see more of Star Fox, too.
Mario Maker, however.
"Just imagine creating your own Super Mario game and sharing it with your friends to play."
Yeah, and imagine if people had being doing that for years already in LBP!
