This is awful, but I have to question whether the family was using the appropriate fire safety cable sent out later in the Xbox's life cycle, which was specifically meant to avoid this problem. It is pictured there, but who knows if it was used or not...assuming this IS the first Xbox (seems more likely).
Regardless, I am very sorry for the child and family.
Well EBGames and Gamestop are known to sell used games as new, perhaps they do the same with consoles.
This is CG, right?
This one is better: http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/...
At least gives us a demo this year then.
Kojima said it was exclusive BUT Payton did not address if it was multiplatform, and seeing as it isn't exactly up to just Kojima, anything is possible.
We'll see. Either way I can't wait for the game.
"Jack Thompson, the middle-aged man who thinks about children playing in their bedrooms"
I think Jack needs some help.
Isn't the guy talking about this a 1up editor? The Konami guy (Payton) isn't here.
I guess it's possible.
I hate the way the Wii looks, not because it's small, I just dislike the design. But I wouldn't choose whether I 'hate' it or not in general over that alone.
It is big, but it's just cool to have a better-than-composite miniPS2 to play on the go. The design is alright too.
But if the price bar is around $550, I don't think many would be interested.
Does the emotion engine jack up the console's price? If it does then I guess it's better to just use the emulation in the UK model (assuming that it is at least 75%+ backwards compatible).
Psyched for this game!
Well, seeing as the Orange box comes with everything, and I never really played HL2 too much, I'm ok with this.
Well, I don't know what Sony or Microsoft's intentions are, but if it IS for PR (on either side), that's pretty pathetic. Right now I'm just glad I can run such a program to help, as it's an easy way for me to help.
is still massacring.
PSP is doing well.
He is improved over DMC3 though, which is good.
Nero has it. This is Dante.
Not sure why you assume people don't want Blu-ray.
I wanted the Blu-ray and the Cell. The price didn't bother me, but alas, I'm sure it is out of the question for many.
Anyway, online petitions are essentially useless due to the fact that no proper signatures are given, and "signatures" can be made multiple times by the same people, giving it no true meaning.
Bakayarou is just a more vulgar way of saying baka (idiot, moron). Either used by a Japanese person or an anime otaku.
Now I have a rough idea on what those PS/PS2 game settings do. Does anyone have any "optimal" settings? I have the smoothing ON and the upscaling on "normal."
