Nice. God, when I saw "Wii" I was like WTF?! But the end of the trailer cleared that up. I just wouldn't want any quality sacrifice for the 360/PS3 versions if it was on all 3 platforms.
<_<

Team Ninja is keeping the goodies from us...the alternate hairstyles!! GAH! 3 more weeks until I have my hands on this baby.
I infer, based on what most of the article said, that this is probably not a game that is being talked about. It doesn't really give you any hints to what specifically though, it just mentions that Zhu is helping generate some sort of software.
"These days, Yunpeng puts his experience toward helping create the software that millions of gamers around the world will soon find in their gaming consoles."
After reading that, it seems more than likely that i...
Well definitely a blow to HD DVD since it is the only exclusivity they have, although if they manage to get the players cheaper they can still have an advantage in pricing. Although the actual movies I believe are now at the same price.
(Correct me if I'm wrong on that. My Wal-Mart has the same prices, I think.)
I'm very tempted to see what this is, but I HATE spoilers...
Nevermind: Didn't realize this was a joke. Heh.
...what was the point of saying that? Why must you bring console flaming into this?
-_-
Questionable as news, but that is some hot-assed car.
Good looking engine.
Yes, but that podcast idiot hyped it way too much, made it sound like the end of the world. Looks fun though.
You're speculating beyond what analysts do, on no basis at all.
Do you realize that HD content requires good computers and HD monitors? Whereas, if you buy an HDTV and an HD DVD or Blu-ray player (of which the price is moving down slowly but surely), it is a lot simpler to enjoy HD content?
I donno about you, but I don't want to be waiting for a download which may fail, risking loss or deletion of the content, and then watching it on my computers so all my buddie...
HD DVD's plus so far is that it still has exclusive Universal support, so you would benefit from having both formats.
Talk about unjustified opinion. Digital distribution doesn't interest many at the moment for HD content. The only "digital distribution" people are interested in is illegally downloaded movies. <-- generalization, referring to video, not music.
Might get VF5 if it's $20 less than before.
@snoop_dizzle: this will really be dependent on TV vs HDTV's in households, which atm, is very low on HDTV side.
All these articles are the same.
Intro: It's about time we look at who's winning the format war. (Seeing as there is a new report everyday, it must always be time.)
Body: Same BS from every other article
Conclusion: OH WAIT, it's too EARLY to decide on a winner!! Sorry for wasting your time.
-_-
After experiencing Madcatz I've given up on 3rd party.
I have no real problem with the game itself, but rather the flaming idiot from that podcast who was bloating about it being in real-time. ...So what? And the part about 360 fans dreaming about this is ridiculous. This can likely be done on any platform.
Personally my negativity was expecting something really, really big to be announced as part of the "June 11th surprise," rather than a trailer for an SOE game. It looks good, and I'll check it out, but I was hoping for something on Killzone 2, as were quite a few others.
I'm hoping Team Ninja is hiding some stuff from us, which is likely to be something they'd do to surprise people.
For example, I only remembering seeing a few screens of the new water type enemy, and they haven't shown screens of clone fights in Sigma yet.
Gonna pick up the special edition whenever it lands.
Yeah as pointed out SCIV is 360/PS3.
