I'd rather have FFXIII come out sooner, rather than SE start another project.
But if they can get it done in good time, then I'm sure some will appreciate this. If it came to be, I'd probably check it out.

I think people exaggerate that the PS3 is doing sh!t. It's not, really.
Why would the average consumer get a game console?
They probably wouldn't. People who want to play games will go with what they want, and it depends mainly on what they want to play. If some kid out there only wants FFXIII and MGS4, why would he get a 360?
The same way a die hard Halo fan will not buy a PS3.
Actually, those userbase numbers are looking quite good for the PS3, considering how long it's been out.

Now that you mention it, G4 bashed the hell outta the 360 for a little while, and then of course it picked up with stuff like GRAW and Gears. I expect the same cycle to happen with the PS3, of course, but no one learned from last year I guess because they're all making the same assumptions for this console.

For god's sake, just look at the physics engine. The graphics alone do not do this game justice.
Fanboys on both sides live in fear of their preferred system's inferiority, thus they find it necessary to attack any positive news of the rival system.
This can include: looking for a negative side of the story, making up bullsh!t (very popular), explaining why it is still inferior, or something equally gay.
Diablo 2 + Expansion were the only Blizzard games that I was ever heavily into. It'd be crazy to see a new one.

you have a point. those variations are likely searched for too, whereas it seems less like that someone will type "high definition DVD." Even if they were, that doesn't necessarily imply the HD DVD format.

I agree that sixaxis won't be anything to gawk about for this particular game, but I'm sure they'll throw something neat in to support it.
