Cocky and arrogant, maybe, so long as they back it up then they are lighting fires under asses. It's good to see that competitive flare, Sony presumably feels that they are in a good position to carry that swagger.
Personally, I enjoy the humour, it's just too bad some people are going to shove it in other people's faces while other people are going to be bitter over it. Of course, if Sony falls flat on their face, don't be mad when the Xbox/Nintendo fans com...
The bigger issue for me is data usage caps I have here in Canada :/
I'd much rather buy an accessory add-on to allow for BC. I can understand not putting it in maybe for costs/hardware construction, but streaming HD games isn't an option for me.
I killed the Onion Knight (Siegmeyer of Catarina) and the Crestfallen Warrior because of this :'(
Nothing wrong with being a hatter, I own a couple myself.
And I agree, I'm not a fan of the NWO either, I'm all about the Wolfpac.
We don't need every damn opinion clogging up N4G though. Anyone with an access to the internet can run a website and push stuff like this for hits, it just boils down to senseless blabbering. This is the problem with the approval process, as tons of opinion pieces like this that are clearly lacking quality or uniqueness get put through the system.
Yup! They are very talented and work really hard, and deserve to make much more money, and what better way than to flourish and expand onto markets on XBL, Steam, Wii U, PSN, and other platforms to do that.
I am really happy and hopeful that they can balance both the creative drive and the success they deserve. It's been great seeing them grow throughout the generation.
Sumo Digital is rumoured to be working on LBP3, so it could be a new IP, or at least an LBP spin off (LBP: 3D Adventure, like Sonic Adventure/Zelda/Super Mario 64 is what I'd love)
Not sure why devs are expecting ports to sell millions, so I'm going with Zombie U. I remember that game at least got me hyped for Wii U.
That said, the Wii U is in its infancy, and I wonder if the expectations were for the console to sell a lot more, thereby increasing sales of the game, or if it was for the actual game to sell millions and have a high attach rate.
Either way, with this and Rayman Legends coming to PS3/360 (which I'm personally happy...
Yeah, but just look at the VITA version. It's clear that they didn't set high expectations for that game to begin with.
How is Killzone 2 "unplayable"?
They aren't committed to anything, but they would be very successful going third party, as their team could grow and sustain itself to very marketable audiences, like on Steam.
But I'm sure they are comfy at Sony too, question is if they want to solidify that, or branch out on their own and take more risks like they took with Journey. Regardless, I am so happy that they have these options, and that they didn't end up like Lightbox, or Eat Sleep Play.
I agree.
Doesn't VITA do something like this?
Nothing is going to stop people from buying Last of Us, as PS3 owners will still be buying PS3 games. Not like they are striking until Christmas/2014
The February 20th teaser has amassed nearly 5 million views on the single PlayStation Youtube channel. Everyone expects PlayStation 4, and Sony would be foolish to not reveal the console with all this hype in their favour. There really is no reason for it not to be, they have all year to roll out the surprises while maintaining ...
I have to agree: production values were nowhere near what they should have been. Undoubtedly, the game was very rough around the edges and was not fleshed out with more options and modes. Post-release suffered from bugs and annoying glitches. And the roster lacked a number of heavy hitters, that will be glaringly obvious.
But throughout all that, I love this game. The core mechanics with the supers, IMO, are fun, and I enjoy the intensity that comes out of playing this game...
@green
You have to come up with a better argument than an appeal to popularity. Especially when that popular vote is not synonymous with the majority of the fans on the internet. It's only natural to here about new Xbox IPs and question if it's Kinect based. That's the atmosphere MS created for themselves, and that's the one people are more likely going to assume is the case.
"So what if they are?"
So you have no pro...
Let's hope not.
This is Microsoft's chance to build up a gaming portfolio dedicated to core gamers for next gen.
I hope MS brings it, but I am more skeptical than anything else. MS clearly has unfinished business with Kinect, and while I enjoyed that full-room Kinect demo, I am concerned about what it means for more traditional matters.
By far one of my most wanted features ever. Too many amazing memories I have with games that I could never save. Never thought I'd see it happen, but it's clear Sony had the foundations down with PS3 and VITA. Glad to see it finally becoming full-fledged.
Make a Miiverse/Home application where we can have specific forums and share this kind of stuff with other fans, and it'd be awesome.
Unfortunately, people are too petty to realize this, and will continue arguing over the most trivial of things.
I want another Killzone, but if Guerilla Games can't seize the opportunity fans so desperately crave for the story, co-op, and multiplayer (took steps back with K3), then I'll lose all hope.
Killzone just feels shy of reaching that true potential, and I am heavily hoping for Killzone 4 to deliver. Time to do what should have been done: fleshed out co-op modes, killer multiplayer that improves on Killzone 2 and stops screwing around with Killzone 3's junk, and a st...
