They should have had an intermission, I really had to pee.

Microsoft wont abandon the profits. If they can keep their brand perception ahead, then they can continue getting away with charging for LIVE. I am expecting some solid OS features and app partnerships that can take MS a long way when it comes to being a family-oriented entertainment hub. If they can make those new consumers pay for an XBL subscription, then there wont be a necessity to go free to access LIVE.

Yup. At the end of the day, it's about the games, and Nintendo does that well. Sony and Nintendo are always going to be two sides of the same coin to me, wildly different, but still encompassing some great philosophies that I appreciate when it comes to games. Wii U isn't there with the games yet, but that doesn't mean that they are finished.
Ball is in Microsoft's court now.
This rumour either dies off, or Microsoft blocks used games and change the playing field. I am going to assume they wont, even if they wanted to.
I agree with this
The *one* thing that surprised me a lot was the lack of Gran Turismo 6. It's tradition: PlayStation unveiling= Gran Turismo unveiling.
Who says that? Pretty sure we all knew it was real time-- the game was demoed lol. Anybody could tell by how badly the person playing was aiming, and the fact that he ran away from a Helghast soldier when he ran out of ammo, which I thought was funny.
...Not that Bungie
Probably a prequel?
Oh my god, Bungie is back.
Such a massive tease, I was expecting it to close the show.
That controller was great though, I want to see more of that. At least this way they can spotlight the controller and then show off the actual hardware at E3.
Bungie has always been great :)
Only the most diehard fanboys denied that they are a talented bunch.
I'm glad to see them branching out to this new IP
^ I get that, but not sure if the final presentation was a good idea of that. Nowhere near the impact of LBP's debut, was hoping for a better explanation, but I get the general concept. But, like House said, it's not a "game", just a demo. Who knows what it will become.
I still have no idea what it is.
Disappointed with what was shown, but you can't win them all.
Hopefully more information at E3, but I have no idea what to think of it
Well needed change. Can't wait to see the future. I want to be a fan again
Must be from all those chain emails you've forwarded!
^ I hope it's still free. It's such a great advantage over XBL. What Sony lacked this generation was a polished, feature-rich service. They can have that with PS4, and in addition to free online, it can be very effective at marketing PSW as a legitimate service over XBL.
But at the same time: If Sony does charge to play online, what are we going to do about it? It's free money, and I bet at the end of the day, most of us who want a PS4 will get a PS4 and put up wi...
You will probably have to pay-- you can't expect everything for free.
If Sony is offering Gaikai with premium services, they have to charge to make that money back and maintain the features. They spent a boatload acquiring Gaikai, now they have to integrate and support it. All that costs lots of money.
I am more than willing to pay for it. This is what I wanted from Sony's PSN for a long time, and PS3 couldn't offer it due to limitations and Sony&...
I like the Move trigger a whole lot. Reminds me of the Gamecube trigger, which was just a joy to press.
I just hope it has some good resistance to make gripping the controller as a whole more comfortable. I wouldn't even mind if they went back to Dualshock 2 L2/R2 buttons, actually.
He's a moderator. They get the power, and the babes.
(But mostly the power)
