Only a matter of time, but now that it's here the reality of it really hits hard.
Also, I didn't know Jason Rubin was THQ president. Hope things go well for him and everyone else.
I grew up playing wrestling games with THQ. Those games were really fun when I was a kid. They were terrible this generation though, and I hope we see these IPs put into better hands.
Focus group. Or, as I call it "F***ed Us" Group
Yep, the fact that Sony wont save this for Q4 gives a strong hint that they are wrapping up with the PS3.
This also seems to suggest that the Last Guardian will probably launch on PS4.
I wonder if we will ever see Demon's Souls II
Sony is missing out
Praise the sun!

Fantastic trailer. For the B Team, this is certainly looking to top Uncharted
Naughty Dog has really cemented themselves as top dogs this gen
@majie,
Oh, my bad. Thanks
OH GOD DARK SOULS II
Ha, Activision is cleaning house with Spyro/Skylanders. They dont need Insomniac, and Insomniac would have never made money off of Spyro in 2012 like Activision is doing.
As much as I hate the deviation of Spyro in Activision's hands, you have to admit that they did a damn good job making the game financially successful.
Looks fantastic!
Love the perspective depth of Wipeout's track, really translates what the game is about
And Kat <3
Haters gonna hate

I have no idea how that proves bias.
But I do find the criticism of the game having a steep learning curve to be ridiculously stupid. It's NOT a hard game, and the depth is there should you choose to become an advanced player. That's how fighting games work.
I can understand the criticism for the presentation and the lacking single player component, but I find 6.5 to be quite harsh.
Regardless, I am enjoying the game a lot, the beta s...
Glad to see them katering a VITA title. It'd be a Grave mistake not to
Too bad for us, I like him
Well they seem to hark on the new mechanics not being as fun as the MNR mechanics.
As much as I really like seeing Sackboy in a different genre like kart racing, I think I'd have preferred an MNR 2. It had a really unique thing going with its hub, creation, and style that the LBP tone lost. Still, a 5 seems extreme, and the review was expectedly brief for me. Seems to be getting 7-8 everywhere else
^ Superbot confirmed that you can turn on on-screen scoring a long time ago. They just prefer not to.
The item dropping (ordinance drops) is for one multiplayer mode, but I completely applaud the criticism by Edge.
They put it beautifully-- the simplicity of MP is being traded for crappy reward systems that alter the balance of Halo, and deserves to be struck with criticism. Every IP does this now, and it never works out
Don't have a 360, but I was a hardcore Halo 1 fan, so it sucks that I'm missing out. Halo is such an phenomenal franchise, I can't help but get excited.
Regardless, I'm glad 343 did such a great job.
Damn, I'm jealous.
Great writeup.
The super system creates a really enjoyable meta-game, and the combo system truly is the big star here, as it really brings out a competitive side to compliment the meter managing that's always going on.
Dodging supers, outsmarting opponents, baiting, enemy super tracking, grabbing, there's a whole lot to consider and it's not as simple as it's made out to be. It's really something you begin to appreciate and it's somet...
@Shin
By definition, next gen refers to the newest generation hardware available. So yes, Wii U is the next generation of Nintendo products. When we are in the swing of things with PS4, 720, and Wii U, it will all be "Current gen" with Wii U likely being at the lower end of the spectrum.
By your own words, you aren't going to experience next gen with only a Wii-U. But you also wont experience next gen with only PS4 and 720. The PC will have more...
I've pretty much avoided checking out the store because it's so slow. I could just bring the old one up, take a quick look, and leave. This one is just too much of a hassle to even bother starting up.
