The ad was straightforward: It's 3DS without the 3D.
Surely there are parents and gamers who don't care about 3D, and don't want to pay the price. It's a cheap device that plays solid, highly rated portable games. Seems like a pretty easy way to cash in.
Keep in mind that the rumour associates a "fee" to trade in.
That fee is then split between MS and the publisher. If used games will continue to exist, and if digital sales are being pushed, it'd be smart to control and profit off of this market while cutting out the middle man (Gamestop).
Seems reasonable to me.
Ah I see! Thanks!
Hey, just curious: Your fastest platinum was Sly Cooper-- you got the platinum in under 1 minute, according to trophy tracking websites.
Just wondering, how is that possible?
I like how there were 50 opportunities to kill Shue, and the Helghast just look away waiting to die lol.
Killzone Shadow Fall is 1080p and 60 FPS (for multiplayer).
So, no CTF at launch?
"GOTY" certainly gets thrown around like it's nothing these days.
The Gamescom gameplay was mostly eye candy.
The guns had no recoil (it wasn't added in yet), and it was TDM. It was pretty barebones.
It's also not what Killzone is about. Killzone is about gunplay, Warzone and teamwork. Guessing this was just to impress the press with something basic, but I'm waiting for the proper presentation.
If Killzone's gunplay is as good as KZ2, with some improvements, the game should be enjoyable by i...
My first PSN purchase, and one of my favourite games of this gen. Got the highest score out of all my friends at ~70 000000 points :D
I STILL need that 10x multiplier trophy
You can unlock attachments and in-game abilities (think ribbons from KZ3), as well as class abilities if I'm not mistaken.
Bundle Minecraft for Christmas, and I'm sure they can sell like hotcakes.
64 players, 60 FPS, all that destruction and vehicles... I am buying heavily into the hype.
Doesn't help my wallet that DICE makes damn great trailers too haha.
Looks pretty good. It's definitely a great way to hook the wider audience.
Really love the split-screening.
Ustream has been going on a steady decline, while twitch.tv has been rising in popularity.
I'm not sure if PS4 can turn that around for Ustream. As a gaming console, twitch.tv seems much more appropriate for Sony.
MS getting twitch is going to be a big deal to those who stream, so I hope Sony announces twitch support pretty soon. I was actually pretty shocked that they went with Ustream to begin with.
At least based on this site's com...
That very large audience is already on Nintendo, and I don't see them switching over or purchasing a VITA for this game.
The VITA was advertised as a hardcore gamer device, and games like this are certainly welcome, but I worry about its success.
I don't mind the game-- you can't blame Sony for a developer wanting to make a game for them. I just really dislike the talking pets, it kills the charm for me. Hopefully it's a profitable game, and i...
They seem to specify issues with localizing the languages for Kinect, but there is probably more to it.
Because that would greatly undermine the point of selling Kinect 2.0 in the first place, since a fractured userbase means less chances of developers caring to utilize Kinect.
A Kinect-less model means less Kinect sales, making Kinect's future a failure.
MS is thinking longterm and wont slash prices at the cost of all the R&D they put towards Kinect 2.0, and it'd be really stupid of them to do that now.
Besides, if people are going...
^ Again, this really isn't marketed towards you or I.
I think it's clear that this is targeted towards a really young demographic, and there could be a number of reasons.
The most obvious to me is that kids would easily break a clam-shelled designed portable. I wouldn't trust a kid with my 3DS.
The design appeals to kids. Nintendo is smart. They know that kids these days play on mommy's ipads and iphones, and with Pokemon aro...
