of course it has to be the truth.... i mean, if you say it, there is no room for other possibilities....
god forbid someone would actually dare to have an oppinion diferent than yours...
how do you dare make a petition?? everyone knows people who make petitions are whiny entitled little kids who have nothing better to do... if Sega decided not to release the game on Steam, it was their choice, and you have no right demanding anything!!!
sarcastic rant over....
on topic, steam is awesome, has great deals, so any good games that come out on it are a good thing since it means a good chance to get it at a discounted price
why are people speaking so much non-sense about bioware's artistic vision being dismissed or crap like that, if they had truly wanted to stick to their vision of the game, they would have stick with their original ending, despite the leak... they already proved they would change the ending for X or Y reason. I think they even said they were tweaking the ending because of fan feedback about the leaked script....
yeah, i agree completely about the ending... but not about the rest of the content. They have a schedule to stick to, if they realize mid-development that they wont have time to finish everything, they have to cut content... this happens in every game.
As for the MP thing, its hardly the same thing to have another developer, not even on the same place, to work on something completely diferent, than to have them work on the same thing you are doing, at the same time you are wo...
one thing i dont agree with you is about the left out content made DLC... any game in development has to ditch out ideas or content because of time restraints, its absurd to think that everyone that was initially on the script will make it to the final game, or game development would take forever.
On most games we either never see this content, or its used for sequels, in the case of ME3, its clear it couldnt be used on a sequel..
you even mention that they d...
if they were just going to roll with a photoshop of a stock pic, i would have prefer to keep the mistery and not show her face, or maybe reveal it in a future game or dlc set years later where quarians no longer need the suits...though on second thought, the endings mean the quarians are stranded on earth so they probably wont be out of their suits any time soon
it didnt "appear" to be a quick photoshop job, IT WAS a quick photoshop job
ah... nothing like an article about the ME3 ending from someone who hasnt completed the game...
i especially liked the part where it said we are BULLYING bioware into changing the ending...
oh and btw, fan fiction exists to EXPAND on the universe, not to correct all the non-sense in the ending
i like the new aproach, but i think before they post something along the lines of a review, even if its unscored, they need to be sure they have played enough. So i dont think for an RPG it might be the best idea, or at least put some extra hours before making the article
so he didnt like it and gave it a bad score... whats the big deal?, he mentions what parts he doesnt like and why he doesnt like them... i cant see what's wrong with that.
If people buy games based on just review scores, then thats your problem, its not the reviewers problem you cant take 5min to actually read what he didnt like and see if you have the same mentality.. if you dont think like him, then maybe you just look for another review that matches what you like and g...
well the endings were also bad... but yeah thats not the main point. Still i would have liked less plotholes and a little more "making sense" in the endings
yeah, it definetely is, expect everything except the last 5min of the franchise to be truly great, then just make up a new ending in your head to try to forget all the non-sense you see in those last 5min
one of the things that surprised me the most regarding the media/reviews about ME3 is how pretty much NO ONE said anything about the ending... i mean, of course they wont go into any details about what happens, maybe they wont say its good or bad (even though i dont see why they wouldnt considering they complain about anything else), but c'mon... EVERYONE, whether liked the ending or hated it can see how controversial it is, and yet NOTHING WAS MENTIONED... if there is a game im sure comp...
yeah a lot more, it had to swap a couple of times on my 1st playthrough and now on my 2nd, just by doing to side quests as they show up, i've had to swap MUCH more
i dont know why they rearrenged the mission structure on the discs so poorly, its like some of the Story missions and N7 missions are on disc 1, and another set of story missions and the rest of the side quests are on disc 2, so just by keeping up with your side quests you might have to change a lot
im sorry, but i dont recall any hostile defenses against people who liked the ending...certainly not from the majority of people, only some kids with no manners like the ones who were making problems on twitter i might not understand why you liked it... but its your opinion, the only hostile things that have happened are this types of article where we are attacked for voicing our discontent TO BIOWARE, especially with the now so famous word "entitled", its like they cant even use a ...
except, for the ending of mass effect 3, its not a minority who is complaining, its a VAST majority, and yet as usual with gaming journalism these days, when someone goes against their opinion, we end being the small minority who doesnt know how to behave....
well to be perfectly honest i dont see whats the diference... if you bought the game new, you are already paying for the online pass, so its the same as any other server shutdown. If you bought the online pass separately i would have to assume you bought it used and payed less for the game so its not like you lost more money than someone who bought it new.
In the end, the online pass has nothing to do with it, the problem itself is the server shutdown
true, i got the best ending(still crap) without touching the MP
i love how much of these articles simply decide to ignore any relevant facts people have brought up to show how bad the ending is, and simply decide to make an article talking as if people just "didnt like the ending"
well im sorry if im not so mediocre to accept something bad just because it was "given" to me... i mean, what the hell is wrong with people saying we have no right to voice our concerns? do you not complain when you get a crappy phone or cabl...
ok, the ending is terrible, simply terrible. One thing is to post comments on forums/facebook, or make petitions (which the mayority of people have done)
and a completely diferent thing is to do these non-sense, why? because even a small amount of reading can tell you there is no legal ground for this, just like the FTC complaint, or asking for a refund, which only a HANDFUL of people have done. Yes, reading the press releases prior to the launch is depressing, so many lies.....
