im guessing the author of this article has missed every game Capcom has released this gen... capcom started with this BS since RE5, probably earlier than that.
well to be honest, if the those franchises are getting a bit stale on consoles, i dont see why releasing a port of console games to a handheld would do much better. I'd rather see franchises that dont show up that often, like it happened with Wipeout 2048 or Super Stardust Delta.
And if these franchises are going to be on handhelds, i would rather have them their own story, not just some port, like Uncharted GA or Resident Evil Revelations

well the thing is that is up to YOU to keep the consistency... they are just giving you the options. If your character wasnt gay for the past 2 games and you decided to make him on the 3rd game and it feels forced, well you are the one that took that decision
i wont say its bad... because its certainly not, but no way in hell its up there with FB2 and CE3.
Just because those engines are limited on consoles means they dont have much more to give, just look at BF3 or Crysis 2 on Ultra settings+High Res Text+1080p on a PC...UE3 is nowhere near that good
well considering that saving to the cloud is such a recent feature, im guessing the amount of people that had a defective 360 replaced it way before this was even introduced, so the ones screwed are basically those whose console failed pretty recently

no its wasnt obviously finished before the game released, because contrary to (amazingly)popular belief, a game is not completed a day before its release.. there is at least 2-3 moments after they finish the game before it ships for certifications, QA, etc.

except i dont know wether its optional or not, for all we know it could be just another Kasumi or Zaeed, with a nice side story but no relevance to the overall story, so how can you say that people HAVE to buy it if you havent played it?. And if it is like that, people would complain that the DLC is crap and they dont want to buy it... so its either the DLC is good so it shouldnt be DLC and instead be in the game, or its bad DLC and they are just milking the franchise for money...

the game is good, but a bit overpriced, i thought it was going to be 6.99 like pushmo and sakura samurai
one genre where i see a lot of potential is RTS. WE could basically get a whole bunch of those buttons we miss so much from the PC version. And we could get the option to work on 2 diferent areas at the time, which would be awesome. Imagine controlling things with the buttons while on the screen there is a massive fight but you can still manage your town/resources on the touch screen

but the problem is people are complaining because they THINK(like you say, we dont even know if it will be worth it) the ME3 DLC will be good... so it shouldnt be a DLC... we've reached that point, if its good DLC, then it needs to be in the game , damm developers and their schedules, i want it so they have to give it to me for free... thats today's attitude...
you are just assuming those things, its not like the PS3 became cheaper just because they dropped backwards compatibilty, by now those components are really cheap, im giving you facts, the UMD passport may be better than nothing, but its still a slap in the face of loyal customers by forcing them to pay AGAIN for buying the game in the 1st place.

i think you missed a couple of consoles there...like PS1, PS3, PSV, PS4, Xbox 720... because if you think anything that doesnt sell as much as the PS2 is "defeated" then everyone should just stop making consoles, because nothing will ever reach those sales numbers again... these are diferent times
I dont really remember talking about resistance... Especially since we already know its not a port. Personally i dont like resistance that much, its a good game but im just not that interested in the franchise and judging by sales, the psv game could define the future of the franchise so lets hope they do put some effort in it
