the comparison makes no sense because the mona lisa was never done as a commercial product, where certain expectations were made by the author about how the finished PRODUCT would be.
If Leonardo Da Vinci had made the mona lisa in a paid contract to someone, and he didnt do what he had originally promised, you can bet your ass the one buying would have complained

well this tech is mostly thinking about the future, not past games... with new consoles coming out in around 1 year, we will start seeing major improvements in PC games as well since developers dont have to limit what can be done to keep things balanced
well i now know what i can really expect when bioware tells us about something, so i just wont get my hopes up.
