i'm sure Team ICO's next project and WKC will definitely be in that nine. maybe even Dark Cloud 3. i'm curious as to what the Konami game will be. nothing could be better than either Suikoden 6 or ZOE 3.
any word on if Squenix will announce Kingdom Hearts 3 at TGS?
what more can Microsoft buy? they've pretty much bought every third-party exclusive Sony once had. either it's a full-fledged 360 exclusive now (Ace Combat and Star Ocean), or it's multiplatform (DMC4, FFXIII). KH3 is rumored to be a PS3 exclusive; still, at the most i see Microsoft paying for "also-on" privileges (Squenix would be fools to make that a 360 exclusive). the only exclusive left is Tekken, and at this point, who really cares? none of these moves have kept PS3 from ...
i know this article is opinion and speculation, but the loss of Bungie and the closure of Ensemble kinda lend credence to the opinion that Rare's next. at this point the last thing Microsoft should do is dismantle another in-house studio. they have way too few of them as it is. pretty soon they'll just seem like a temporary-stay, one-hit-wonder in the games industry, possessing funds to buy third-party exclusives yet still lacking legs and the talent to earnestly compete. i understand tha...

PS360 in my book. i have a Wii too (well, it's my girlfriends), but it basically sits there and collects dust. PS3 and 360 receive about equal playtime from me right now. within the next two months that'll shift more towards the 360 (Fable 2 and Gears of War 2, versus just LBP for PS3, and maybe Rock Band 2 [still think i'm getting that for the PS3]), but after that, it'll swing back towards the PS3 (WKC, inFamous, Killzone 2, plus most multiplatform releases lik...
in other words, eurogamer's views are just as arbitrary and partial as anyone elses, including (possibly) gametrailer's.

as you can see, the only thing eurogamer was right about was screen tearing on the PS3 version. it's convenient how the 360 wins due to PS3's screen tearing and some supposed lack of depth blur, but they say nothing about how the 360 version has sub-par framerate (especially at the beginning, where the game pauses two or three times) and horrible textures...
like i said on Kotaku, it would be a waste of everyone's money to release FFXIII in Japan on the 360, when it's coming to the PS3 also. IU, ToV, LO and Blue Dragon drove 360 sales because they were exclusive. had they been multiplatform i seriously doubt they would've sold nearly as many 360s. with FF being heavily associated with Playstation, as well as Japan being Sony's turf (compared to Microsoft anyway), Microsoft and Square probably didn't see the worth in releasing it in Japan.
as i've said before, my most awaited exclusives are 360 games:
Gears of War 2
Fable 2
but PS3 has more exclusives that i'm waiting for:
LBP
Resistance 2
Wipeout HD
Pacific Rift
Valkyria Chronicles
and Ultimate Ninja Storm's looking mighty tantilizing.
agreed Sonarus. that was some of the best animation and best cover-system implementation i've seen in a game to date. hopefully Sony hasn't completely scrapped it. who knows?
i guess the Wii needs all the good games it can get...well, actually the Wii doesn't need anything, since it's currently selling gangbusters. still, while i have a Wii in the household, i'd be pretty pissed if it went to that system. Wii is good for Wii Play and Wii Sports; all real games belong on the PS360.
sloppy PS3 port? get the 360 version. DVD limitations an issue? get the PS3 version. PS3 vs. 360 bickering? leave it to the fanboys. gaming is grand for who? PS360 owners!
i want Trophy support, but i won't go to such extremes as refusing to buy games that don't support it. Achievements never dictated whether or not i got a multiplatform game on my 360, so why should i let Trophies determine whether or not i buy a game period? it's a sweet feature (much like custom soundtracks), but i don't think it's that important to a game.
most awaited exclusives:
Gears of War 2 (360)
Fable 2 (360)
awaited exclusives:
Gears of War 2 (360)
Fable 2 (360)
L4D (360)
Wipeout HD (PS3)
Resistance 2 (PS3)
LBP (PS3)
Motorstorm Pacific Rift (PS3)
Valkyria Chronicles (PS3)
Socom Confrontation (PS3)
awaited non-exclusives:
Mirror's Edge (PS3)
Rock Band 2 (PS3)
Rise of the Argonauts (PS3)

PS3 hardly has any EXCLUSIVE jrpgs. Valkyria Chronicles and Disgaea 3 are the only exclusive jrpg coming in the near future; compared to 360 currently available ToV and Infinite Undiscovery, and the soon to be release Star Ocean IV (still boggles my mind how Sony let that series slip) and Last Ramnent (timed-exclusive). PS3 still has WKC (my most awaited jrpg this generation) and FFXIII Versus, but at this point those are distant-future. hopefully TGS brings with it firm release dates for...
i seriously doubt that. 360 definitely has the tools to become this generation's PS2, but it just doesn't seem to be working for them. that's becuase it has much more competition than the PS2 did...heck, after it's third year PS2 had a comfortable 30+ million lead over it's nearest competitor, and that lead GREW as the generation went on. after three years 360's lead has steadily decreased from 10 million to 5 million over the PS3, despite the fact that it had what many consider to be a hi...
seems kinda odd that the PS3's color would be so...well, non-existant. i had no interest in this game, until i saw this comparison video. now i'm downloading the demo just to see if the PS3 version was indeed that gray. but like you said; what's Pure when Pacific Rift's right around the corner?
this actually isn't too bad for the PS3, considering the 360 currently has near twice the install base as PS3 in the US. still, i'm not sure how much Amazon sales are indicative of actual over-all US sales.
yeah, go figure. and by the looks of it, at least three other people don't speak sarcasm either...unless you have some rocket scientists who decided to disagree with Kyur4ThePain's QUESTION.
i certainly hope it's at least 9/10. i've been waiting on Fable 2 since the conclusion of the first game (and subsequently Lost Chapters).
being a PS360 owner, i cherry pick with multiplatform games too. right now i have more PS3 multiplatform games than 360, but that's just because of my preference for the controller. i'll definitely be getting Fallout 3 on the 360, due mainly to dlc.
as for which system is the lead platform; well, in the past that used to be the 360, but that tide has sorta shifted as '08 progressed. since Burnout Paradise, PS3 has been the lead for most multiplatform games. if i recall corr...
