okay, Assassins Creed IS coming to the 360...6 to 12 months after the PS3 version (and i'm being generous). until you can find some links to prove otherwise then you're just speculating
Gamestop and EB recently revealed that at its press conference at this years Games Convention in Leipzig, Microsoft misled its attendees: that in fact, while the 360 has SHIPPED approximately 5 million consoles, only 3 million of those are actual sell-through numbers. The rest are sitting on store shelves waiting to be shipped to Japan...for Microsoft's second 360 relaunch (or in case, re-relaunch, not to be confused with Nintendo's Wii-wii-launch). This news comes on the heels of the Winni...

thats Ubisoft's official page for Assassin's Creed. so what? are they gonna wait until the last minute before updating it with 360 info?
when Microsoft lied and said that GTA IV was exclusive to the 360 Rockstar immediately came forth and clarified that it was coming to the PS3 as well. when Microsoft lied and said that Pro Evo was exclusive to...
dude, i don't even play soccer games and even I know that Winning Eleven trounces FIFA.
i figured i'd post this in response to gameindustry's lengthy, negative spin on Sony's absence at the GC. like many other PS2/3 fans, ign feels that Sony's just waiting to show their cards at TGS.
"Sony always overpromisses and underdelivers"
well, i'd rather have a company that overpromises, than a company that flat-out lies. makes me wonder if that whole "5 million 360's sold" statement is true?
what reason do the Europeans have be mad? they had foreknowledge that Sony wasn't gonna be present. don't be naive. the basis for this whole article was Microsoft's supposed coup of soccer for their next gen system. even had they not lied and made said announcement, Pro Evo and FIFA were probably gonna come to the PS3 later anyway. that Microsoft lied about it hampers their credibility, and the credibility of gameindustry's whole article. not even Sony has ever lied about another develo...
so, you just found out Microsoft's a big'ol, fat and greasy liar and you couldn't come up with something more credible to retaliate against Sony than this? typical.
what hasn't been confirmed? that Assassins Creed is coming to the 360 one year after the PS3? or that Assassins Creed is coming to the 360 at all? ;)
and they'd be wrong if they did that. but as it stands there's no such announcement.
no. you're just saying that Japan isn't important because they aren't liking the 360. if the 360 sold over there as much as it did over here, you'd be posting all sorts of links. if Japan wasn't important, then this should be a meaningless statement, "But 80 % of Japanese gamers said the ps3 is way too expensive." the preceding was brought to you by The Real Deal not even an hour ago.
oh i could really care less. i don't even like soccer. its just funny to me. Microsoft fanboys are always saying how Sony lies: well here it is, a bold-faced lie from Microsoft. they said that they'd struck a one year deal with Konami for exclusive next-gen rights to Pro Evo; and now Konami's saying that they never said that, that Microsoft was misleading everyone. Sony and Microsoft are both corporations that lie, Microsoft probably most of the three: but Sony constantly gets slammed fo...
At its press conference earlier this week, Microsoft made the announcement that Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer (known as winning Eleven to us) and EA's FIFA Soccer would both see a year's exclusivity on the Xbox 360, making its next-gen console "the platform" for soccer fans. This was seemingly a huge win for Microsoft, considering how popular Soccer is in the European and Asian territories.
Now, however, we're starting to hear a different story. Speaking with Winning Eleven ...

OMG! Sony fanboys will DEFINATELY get a kick out of this. Konami refutes Microsoft's Pro Evo Exclusivity claims...lol. read. just goes to show you that Microsoft isn't as honest as their fanboys make them out to be.

sigh. gameindustry should've posted this article before Leipzig and not after, because Sony had already announced that they weren't gonna be present there. this shouldn't have been a surprise, especially not enough so as to write a whole column about it.
you see that gratified smile on Allard's face on your avatar? well, the nature of your comment makes me wonder if you're somewhere UNSEEN and engaging in some serious head-motion on that picture. ;)
