personally i'm not into to WWII shooters: thankfully Resistance offers something a bit different. nevertheless, i think they're both gonna be equally good...to each his own.
there are articles with geniunely researched, meticulously detailed informative information, then there are those articles founded and written by hopeful-thinking fanboys. think i'll file this one under the latter. the Lost Planet article was founded by a statement from Capcom: this one's founded by a statement from an analyst.
well, i have a 360 and play the Lost Planet demo almost religiously. i posted the news to level the playing field on this site, a site where 95% of the posters are XBox fanboys. may as well give the PS3 fanboys something to cheer about too.
Lair is the game with the flying dragons.

ah, but see, there's a flaw in your logic. Microsoft made the announcements about FIFA and Pro Evo, NOT EA or Konami. Microsoft can word it however they see fit to make their console all that much more appealing (like they tried with GTA). Sony never announced that FFXIII or MGS4 were exclusive to the PS3, Square and Konami did. and since Square and Konami would gain more by having their respective games on multiple platforms, don't you think they would've already announced a multi-platfo...
no. i'm waiting for a statement from Sony, who would know more than anyone the manufacturing capacity of its product. i'm waiting for an actual release of the PS3, that way i can see unequivocally whether or not its true. i have plenty of PS2 games, and a few 360 games to tide me over while i wait
i don't think gametime was commenting about the article itself, but rather the real deal's response to it.
not surprising, considering Microsoft did the exact same thing at E3 with GTA. however, it matters little to me. i've NEVER been into soccer/footbal games anyway. Pro Evo and FIFA could go exclusive to the DS for all i care.
heard the 360 version was lacking plenty of features. i'll probably just stick with the PS2 version, or maybe even opt for the original XBox version...if its backwards compatible?
sweet! this game MUST ship with the PS3's launch. Sony SERIOUSLY need to consider making Ninja Theory, Insomniac and Factor 5 first-party developers instead of second-party, because Heavenly Sword, Resistance and Lair will definately sell PS3's at launch.
this is an unverified report. not saying that its true for false; but until i hear more i'll take it with a grain of salt.
i guess it's kind a double-edged sword. true, Microsoft isn't forcing its consumers to adopt to the HD-DVD, whereas Sony is forcing Blu-ray on its consumers. but from where i'm sitting, PS3's Blu-ray will have more of a use for gamers than 360's HD-DVD. the 360's HD-DVD add-on isn't for games whatsoever (unless you wanna believe rumors that have been swirling around saying that some games in the future will require it): so to gamers (360's ONLY purchaser) its a useless add-on. games on th...
dude, no one here is talking about Killzone or Warhawk. the article is about Assassins Creed for the PS3. read: "5 new Assassin's Creed Screen`s". right there you should've known that this was an article about a PS3 game, in which case you should've easily avoided it, seeing as you don't like the PS3. you really hurt your anti-Sony cause when you come to PS3-specific sites and trash it. for something you loath so much you sure do spend a lot of time researching it.
good news for 360 fanboys...i guess. me? i had no intentions of getting either version. Twisted Metal is where the true car carnage is at. all others are shallow imitations
dude, come on now. use a little common sense. the announcement was made by Microsoft, not EA or Konami, both of whom support PS3 with their key titles. the media turned it into this "huge blow to Sony" business, when in fact neither game would've probably showed up on the PS3 until this time next year anyway. to further prove my point, those respective games aren't even "exclusive" to the 360, as they're coming to the higher-selling PS2 as well, which will STILL feed S...
we'll all see tomorrow. how about that?
these screens aren't horrible, but they aren't great either. Resistance looks noticably better.
yeah i know. i just think it's funny that every major and minor game site i go to has the those flight segments, but doesn't have those on-foot segments. no matter how jaded a 360/anti-PS3 fan you may be, you cannot HONESTLY believe that thats the limit of what the PS3 is capable of. the fact that no other site supports the on-foot segments of the video is reason enough to remain skeptical about its authenticity
the mart, AND the real deal? two of this site's biggest fanboys? i'm outty. peace, and hair grease!
i'll give the mart the benefit of the doubt and say that he posted it as 360 only because the screens were purported to be from the 360. nevertheless, i myself would've STILl posted it as PS3/360/Wii news.
