As long as it's still fun to play, I'm fully supporting more realism and customization.
Here in Germany, consumer privacy is an important topic fortunately. Companies like Apple or Google had problems with our government more than once so it was just a matter of time until someone was alerted by the new Kinect.
I don't think that they will ban it but it could make Microsoft change their strategy, at least on this side of the atlantic.
Photorealism sounds nice, the gameplay trailer definately comes close to it. Now we only need it on next gen, even if it's coming later I'd probably still buy it twice.
Is he the First of Us?
It could turn out to be a good console in the end but right now I can't think of anybody that wants this black box which screams identity crisis. Everyone I know who owned a 360 is looking forward to the PS4 at this point.
Yeah, it changed a lot ...but not for the better.
I'm not planning to talk with my console any time soon. Neither do I want a camera in my living room that is always connected to a companies server. And I'm sure people who visit me don't want their faces to be recognized by the system just that it can greet them the next time they come around.
Read it again, I wrote "only intention". Sony clearly targets the gaming community, Microsoft does not.
Good plan, you won't regret it. Unlike Microsoft, Sony is still releasing high quality games regularly, Last Of Us, Beyond or GT6 being the perfect examples. And you still have enough time to catch up on must-play games like God Of War, Uncharted, Journey, Metal Gear 4, Ni No Kuni, or Little Big Planet.
It's about time this happens. They invaded our industry with the only intention being profit, not doing the gaming community any favors.
Xbox go home and Microsoft stay with developing Windows.
Wow I'm so excited ...well, no
As a company, you know you did something right when people are looking forward to your ads instead of getting annoyed by them :)
I'm also hoping for something interesting in the half time break.
Especially them :D
And now with this smartphone stuff, my phone's blinking every 10 minutes. If it's not a call or a SMS, it's Facebook, Whatsapp or an E-Mail. It's all pretty cool when I'm bored at the bus stop or at work but I don't want it while I'm trying to concentrate on a game and have fun.
"Me want dorito!"
Television, music, entertainment ehhm and games.. he almost forgot to mention it.
I don't understand how it feels broken switching between Netflix and Call Of Duty. If I'm playing a game, especially online, I certainly don't want to watch TV. Even between the matches I'm busy doing other stuff like picking new perks etc.
Right now I'm playing a lot of Skyrim again ...and I'm honestly switching off my phone while doing it because it's annoyi...
Everyone hopes that but I'd even be willing to pay up to 449/499 without thinking about it. But I expect it to cost about 399 right now. This nice piece of hardware will be worth every cent in the long term.
It's funny how the PS4 gets, other than the Xbox, only positive news since it's reveal. If it's really getting released worldwide this year Sony probably won't be able to produce enough PS4's to supply everyone so I'm gonna preorder as soon as it's possible.
You must be fun at parties.
That's the kind of character I want in a superhero game :D
I'm hoping for this announcement at E3.
It's simple, the more Microsoft knows about you the more they can profit from it. The mistake they made was seeing this interaction only from a company-perspective. They thought it's a win-win situation if they know exactly what you like to offer you even more things you might like, but all of this comes at the cost of your privacy and there is no other way around it. If you think about it, Google does this for years now but it's far more subtle. And since they almost have a monop...
