It rather shows at what audience it will be popular. And I for one don't want to be part of an audience that preorders a console on eBay for more than it'll cost at a normal retailer.
Or completely moronic. Paying 500$ half a year before launch for a console that's expected to cost about 400$ at launch is just absurd.
^Well said, imo publishers are the problem in this industry. And I think that it started this gen when gaming went more or less "mainstream". They only care about the business side and how to get the most profit out of the customer while developers rather want their game to be as good as possible. The more this virus is mutating (first it was day1 DLC, then online passes and now it's DRM and charging for used games) the more I'm thinking about supporting independant develope...
Oh your old one is broken, now it makes sense. Would've rather recommended you a PS3 at this moment, it's almost as cheap as a 360 and if you haven't had a chance to play the PS3 exclusives you could catch up on them for a very low price by now.
In the end, gamers probably will come back to Playstation anyway. But one must be very short-sighted and naive to make that mistake in the first place. The 360 had the advantage that it was cheaper and earlier available. But those factors can't the save the One this time.
Ran into this accidently but it's not really worth playing demo again just because of those 2mins. Just wait until the game's out, only 2 weeks left now :)
What for? lol

He's a game journalist, he knows more than you think. Not everything, but probably enough to make such claim.
What do you want an explanation for? It worked liked a charme for me that's why you got a disagree.
I have to agree partly. It's definately not the best GoW but it's still fun to play. I found the MP to be much more entertaining though. You can still try it out but it's hard to get into at this stage. I was one of those who said GoW doesn't need an MP but in the end I've played it for over 25h hours.
And since I like to support Sony's first party I bought it blindly, just like the TLOU now :)
Same here, didn't watch anything but the first trailer ...if only that 5/5 review earlier today wouldn't have been released. Now I can't wait anymore :S
^You could hope that ND releases it for PS4, after all they said that they use the same engine for PS4 and TLOU is even downscaled to run smooth on PS3 so technically it shouldn't be a problem to rerelease it on PS4.
Just checked it, on my GoW:A UK version it's 2,5 Hours left. I said to myself that I won't play it but it's too tempting after reading that review earlier today :D
Only because it didn't improve upon it's predecessor (honestly, can you imagine a game surpassing GoW3's epicness) doesn't mean it's a bad game. If you liked 3 then you'll also like Ascension. And the multiplayer can be a lot of fun, too.
Why didn't you get GoW:A? It's really worth playing as well.
Hopefully. And judging by some of Sony's responses I think it will. Or they haven't even considered it in the first place and that's why they're so relaxed about it, who knows.
I hope it's a new IP. They haven't really found their niche yet like the other big Sony studios, trying out something new could change this.
This game looks incredibly promising, I kind of expected it to be this good or at least close to perfection. Naughty Dog proved again why they are considered to be one of the best, if not the best in our industry right now.
According to the comments on IGN this data was gathered before the Xbox reveal. So think twice about taking them too serious.
If this is real, Rockstar didn't say the truth about the map size. Even if it's big this can't be as big as GTA:SA, GTA4 and RDR combined.

But I for one like quality over quantity so as long as there's enough fun stuff to do I don't care about how big it is.
