This wasn't dynamically though. Dynamically would be the kind of destruction Battlefield for example offers. This is clearly a scripted cutscene in which the player can't move his character.
Show some gameplay and we'll judge it by ourselves.
Don't forget the whole TV-strategy. If they come up with this crap at E3 AGAIN I'm quitting their conference just as fast as kinect is processing my voice. That's about 13 billions of a second, FYI.
^You must have slept under a rock this gen.
I hope Sony stays classy and lets the games to the talk. At this moment I can't imagine a scenario where M$ would "kill" Sony at this E3. In fact, I'm rather expecting the opposite right now.
Since the MGS themes are generally anti-war and in the first trailer it seemed like child soldiers are a topic of the game I'd guess that it's something in that direction ...but the two screenshots on the other hand hint into another direction so I'll rather be patient for another week. Can't wait for E3 :)
EA offers them probably more $$ than Sony. I'll miss Ratchet and Clank but it's not like that's a great loss considering the games that'll come out for PS4.
Haha nice, honest answer. And I understand you, I have the same kind of people in my circle of friends. They bought the X360 either because another friend bought it or because the PS3 was too expensive at that time. Meanwhile most of them switched back to Sony and regret buying the Xbox in the first place because in the end, they paid even more for their console because of Xbox Live than me. And of course, missed out on a lot of great exclusives.
This is all very interesting. Once I'm sure that the quality and especially the latency is acceptable, there is nothing that keeps me from buying a PSVita.
You can still play those games on PC, most bugs are fixed there by now. Skyrim and Fallout 3 are games that everybody should have tried out at least once because those are true open world experiences.
Serious question: Why are you accepting to pay for online features?!
Imho this is more unacceptable than the used games fee. I'm not buying/renting used games that often but I'm playing online regularly and would never pay for it since it's free everywhere else.
They are just good at talking and marketing their products. People still think that Windows is the best OS out there.
Did you just seriously compare the PSEye to Kinect?
I'm still playing Skyrim regularly but somehow this game doesn't appeal to me at all. Hopefully we'll see another single player Elder Scrolls soon.
Guys, each to their own but are you seriously saying GTA4 was a better game than San Andreas? Only thinking about Roman asking to go bowling or Michelle asking for a date makes me cringe. Yes, the mature theme has something special that San Andreas didn't have, but gameplay and variety-wise San Andreas was on an entirely different level. There were so many things missing in GTA4 that it was hard not to think about SA's possibilities while driving around New York and doing boring side ...
I agree with most of your points but I wouldn't call them idiots. Everyone has his own reasons for buying One or the other.
Back to Infamous, I really like how the theme this time is to fight against a monitoring system/government instead of just the "bad guys". It's kind of ironic that Microsoft and it's Kinect 2.0 are a good example for such monitoring right now.
Lulz makes me remember the EA fiasco with the chinese spammers
Let's just hope that hasn't anything to do with a possible Just Cause 3 announcement.
It'll be hard to meet the expectations people now have of Microsofts E3 conference ...it'll be even harder to surpass Sony with their conference. This will definately be one of the most interesting E3's yet.
Of course it's in-engine, what are you thinking? This is next gen stuff, but it's clearly a scripted cutscene made with the ingame engine so it's NOT fully dynamic (like the descrution in Battlefield, for example). This seems to be a cinematic-heavy game so there will be a handful of those impressive scenes but they won't be "dynamic" in that matter.
In our time, almost EVERY game's cutscene is made in-engine (one of the few examples where it's not is...
