I signed up last year and I'm definately extending my membership in August for another year.
Now that could be an explanation for all those stealth disagrees in the Xbox articles. Would be pretty pathetic though.
At this point I'm recommending PS+ to every owner of a Playstation console. It's just incredible value for your money.
You only know what you're used to, you don't know what you'll be getting with this new voice. People who plan to boycott this game because of this change without even giving Sutherland a chance have some serious case of first world fanboy problems. I got a lot of disagrees when I said this the last time but I don't care, that's my opinion as a big Metal Gear fan since MGS1. If he sucks, I'm on your side but if he's good (and I have high expectations in this case) I...
People are judging this way too early. What if Sutherland does a spectacular performance voicing Big Boss? Would you really care that much then? I'm waiting for some ingame scenes with Sutherlands voice until I make my final judgement about this change.
The demo is about 20mins long and 15 of those 20 mins are running around and exploring, so yes, the full game shouldn't be judged by the demo just like every other game. I guess Naughty Dog just didn't want to show too much in the demo, they easily could've used a demo from one of the show floors in the last couple of months which showed wayy more.
No matter how old those dorito jokes get I'll never be able to disagree with them haha
It's just another way to say
"Hey, this is the inevitable future! You get f***ed but we'll make it as easy for you as possible!"
"Xbox One is designed so game publishers can enable you to give your disc-based games to your friends,"
Like all other consoles before? But only that they weren't designed to do it, it was there naturally. This is a joke.
It doesn't need to record or upload it.
The fact that it's almost always online and it's ABLE to record your voice + room is creepy enough. Last time I checked electronic devices aren't fully hack-proof.
Definately good ideas for the new controller but the other guy seems way more excited about it than necessary lol
Don't mind them, they probably know it themselves.
You can definately save it on your hard drive but they didn't say whether you can copy it on a USB yet. But since you can even post it on Youtube or Facebook copying it on a USB shouldn't be a problem at all since this is already possible on PS3.
Everyone must have had those moments while gaming that you just wanted to record and show a friend afterwards but couldn't at that moment (unless playing Just Cause or Sports/Racing games) so I'm also really looking forward to this feature.
Very good read btw.
This guy's great but I'm afraid he'll die of a heart attack in one of his videos someday.
What if the japanese voice actor is capable of doing the stuff Kojima expects from an older Snake? I wouldn't take this as the allmighty argument to end this discussion, there could be other reasons for this move.
It's definately very advanced technology but
a) It's kinda creepy knowing that everything you do or say is getting recognized
b) I can't imagine any scenario where I would want to use this stuff
So even if there were the most awesome games coming with this I'd prefer a more tradinitional way of gaming. On the other hand, I'm also not interested in the PSEye or Wii-like motion controls as of right now.
Of course, I know. But I can assure you that everyone who cares enough about Hayter's voice acting belongs to the group of Metal Gear fans that won't be able to resist buying the game once it's out. You guys can be as disappointed as you want but in the end, you're not playing this game because of Hayter or even Snake - you're playing it because it's fun and unique and that point won't change with or without Hayter. In fact, I believe that Kiefer isn't the wors...

^I laughed way harder at this than I should :D bubblz
