Am I the only one that finds it interesting that EA has a South African Community Manager? That is the Scariest thing of all... inflated budgets and massive overhead == More Expensive Games.

@Shadowstar - Actually, I wouldn't mind some good old school isometric gaming. When I go back and replay fallout 1/2/Tactics, I still enjoy it and it is very playable, even after years have passed and gaming tastes have changed.
Actually, a public beta phase usually leads to a more highly polished end product. It's only to our benefit as the end consumer of the game.
Think back to the days when we didn't have high speed internet and they did all in house beta testing. Think about all the games that you can go back to now and still see the same glitches and bugs that were never able to be fixed, because of the limitations of the era.

I am really looking forward to this game. I've played all the Gothic games to date and even though they are not always quite as polished as some games, they are a must play. The latest iteration looks to be much more polished. PC for me.
