I don't think there's a huge supply of these flight sticks out there in the first place. The demand for them normally isn't high enough to justify companies manufacturing so many of them. So when demand increases due to a new, exciting game making use of them, supplies can start to dwindle fast. This seems a lot faster than usual so demand is highly likely higher than with most other releases.
You say BLM is the one pulling all this racist shit when they literally only come together to protest the murder of black people by cops who almost always get away with it. And yet a few riots and fights is all you fuckers can point towards.
Meanwhile, Alt-righters were asked to wear a mask and they took up arms and marched the streets. And you know what they were met with by the cops? It wasn't batons to the fucking face, pepper spray and rubber bullets. They stood aro...
It would be a pretty stylish monolith. I'd worship it like a God if I were an early hominid and saw a giant XSX. I wouldn't worship it as hard as I would a regular ass PS5, it's huge and probably more Lovecraftian.
I can't believe the XSX controller doesn't have any kind of gyro. The console is most known for shooters and its gonna be stuck with the inferior method of aiming compared to the other two consoles. That's another shame.
If gyro and flick stick get enough implementation on PS5, PS5 players could rival PC players using K&M making crossplay more evenly matched. Good luck to everyone sticking with sticks.
Fable was announced with no gameplay. Let's hope that's not too far off.
@sinspirit: I can see that. A number of their smaller studios have risen in importance in recent years but some of their big studios then have closed since, like Zipper and Evolution.
Lol, the disagrees. So, were the PS1 and PS2 not huge due to games like Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, MGS, DMC, etc. being exclusive or nah? Sony's studios were great then, but a lot of the biggest games on the system weren't made by their studios.
The vast majority of the best games associated with the PS1 and PS2 were 3rd party exclusives. Their first party has never been this good. This is them running on all cylinders after 4 generations of figuring this video games thing out and cultivating all of these studios.
@BehindTheRows: How is "Sony will produce great products without Xbox" not about competition, or the lackthereof? And Sony had competition with the PS1 and PS2, did they not?
@BehindTheRows: Don't be naive. Without competition, they won't see an immediate reason to strive for the best of the best that's designed to beat something else. They'll design a great product that won't have that extra oomph that comes from guessing what the competition's gonna do and how they're gonna counter it. Maybe they'll even eventually tone down the quality of their products because, where else you gonna go? It's not like all of Sony's propert...
They've leveraged the console warz to boost their marketing. I don't think I've ever seen that. This game could've been a flop because nobody gave a shit or talked about it. Now, it's the biggest discussion.
Games have always had "political agendas". Don't let it start bothering you now. You can always not buy them, which I'm sure you've been doing.
Custom touchpad gestures for macros, custom gyro settings, etc. specific to one controller would be amazing.
I think the R1 and L1 buttons are analog now. They apparently have some give to them and don't just click in. If the face buttons and D-Pad all follow suit, that could have huge implications for games on the system.
@OtterX: That would require paying the college players and acknowledging their worth. The NCAA can't have that.
@ElementX: If an indie studio wants to make a game in Dreams and charge for it. Sure. But Bethesda creating mods that don't compare to free ones and charging for those? Nah. People already have been donating to modders for Skyrim for a while. I'm sure people wouldn't mind paid mods if they're worth it.
It's definitely the game and not the XBO that's making the visuals that bad. There's more ambitious games on the XBO that don't even look that bad. As we see from the Gears 5 on XSX visuals, it looks great. Even Gears 5 on the XBO looked better than this footage. This game doesn't look great and the complete mismanagement of 343 is clear. And this is what they let happen to their most beloved franchise, while claiming it's gonna be supported for 10 years. That's 10...
Ryse, a launch game for the XBO, like you said still holds up. Actually, it looks better than Halo Infinite. Sure, it's 900p, 30-ish FPS, and not open world, but still, it came out 7 years ago on significantly weaker hardware.
And I guess people do care because many of the games have been mediocre or just okay.
It's way too late for them to drop XBO support and to take full advantage of the XSX's hardware. That's something they gotta do much earlier into development.
@bouzebbal: If they can guarantee that they'll make use of the DS5 features if DS4 is supported, then I wouldn't mind. But if they do support DS4, they'll have to limit what the touchpad on the DS5 can do so there's gameplay parity. And the touchpad is secretly one of the best innovations. You're stuck with 5 inputs on the DS4 touchpad, there's potentially an inifiniute number of gestures devs can implement to give games a ton more inputs that normally wouldn't fit...
