Why? Because you just don't like the idea? There's no "rule" or "lore" that states Link can't be female.
With more and more women playing video games the "option" for a female Link seems inevitable IMO, and with the recent rise in demand Nintendo have to be at least considering it.
I hope they do, I'm a huge fane of the Fatal Frame franchise, so this one game I'd rush out to get a Wii U for.
How would you mod a game that hasn't been released?
Because Xbox fans don't see themselves as "Second best" neither do Nintendo fans and nor would Sony fans if Sony weren't doing so well anyone.
Everyone who decides to stick with one console made that decision because they see it as the best option for them.
This all should be blatantly obvious to most level headed people here but sadly trolls will be trolls...
Please don't curse, you'll get slapped with a restriction and nobody wants that.
I'm gonna let it slide now but try to leave it out. Thanks.
MGS4 was the perfect swan song for Snake and a fantasic love letter to fans of the series :)
Still one of the best/best looking games on the PS3
A lot of people feel like splitting lists up to one item a page is just the author trying to maximise clicks. I know that's not always the case but, you have to admit it can be a little tedious having to open a new page to see the next item.
Also, I wouldn't use the "But you haven't bothered to read it so you don't know." argument. It just comes off as you're trying to goad people into clicking through all the pages.
Best thing t...
Yeah we use that, didnt realise it was a British thing though.
Is it even possible for Capcom to make a 5th game in the original franchise? They've all but tried to bury it up to this point.
And who at Capcom would even make it? They've lost most of their talent and outsourcing again would most likely just lead to DmC 2.
While I dislike the idea of people losing their jobs.
Kotaku is a cancer, the sooner it gets removed the better.
@Dr Face Doctor
Oh yeah, I figured as much. I was really referring more to all the other articles and even youtube vids that have been taken down for discussing this rumour.
Seems like full on damage control, which unfortunately only adds more credibility to the rumour... I'm not saying it happened but I would not be surprised if it turns out to be true.
You want to create a ticket asking for them to be band from the site? Be my guest. Personally I wish everyone would so we could finally be done with them.
Well it is Kotaku so I wouldn't be surprised. The fact we still allow their articles to be posted here baffles me.
Kojima works for Konami, if Konami wants another Metal gear then he really doesn't have much choice but to comply.
Kojima has stated numerous times that he'd like to work on other projects, even put out Z.O.E HD in hopes of selling enough to warrant making a 3rd game, but sadly that didn't happen...
If you have to blame anyone blame Konami.
There's an Attackn On Titan for the 3DS, though I think it's Japan exclusive atm.
@SilentNegotiator
Thnaks for the advice! I'll get to work on another video asap, and see if I can make it more catchy and interesting this time.
My brother's returned to Japan with his wife earlier last month, so getting him involved in the vid may be a challenge. But I'll see what I can do.
Unfortunately, right now I am simply not able to create a video of the quality or standard you're suggesting
I could probably fix that tonal shift problem, but as for the quality and such, I'm having to make do with what I have at hand, and acquiring new equipment is not an option for me.
I really do appreciate the advice though, I'll try to do what I can to improve the video.
I'm very sorry to hear that. Is it the music I used that you dislike? If so, it's really just a short track my friend who is a DJ put together for me.
I do hope you'll consider looking past something as minor as the intro and outro to my video, and instead think about what I've said in between.
Anyway, thanks for wishing me luck though, it means a lot.
@mikeboccher
I get where you're coming from but there's a big difference between Link and Mario.
Mario has his own personality and drive like most other characters, where as Link was always intended to be a reflection of the person playing the game.
So if a women is playing The Legend Of Zelda it would make sense for her to have the option of playing as a female Link.
I'm not interested in the "social justice...
