Thanks for commenting! :D and I feel the same way in regards to not having actually played any of the JRPG versions of the main series.

I really don't think you can go wrong either way. If you want to play a decent JRPG Persona 4 Golden is supposed to be pretty awesome, that way you'll get a clearer view of the actual plot that goes on to connect the following game and also better know the main characters before moving on to Persona 4 Arena, which I highly recommend. ...

The 360 is pricey because MS chose to bundle it with Kinect 2, If it's no longer a requirement though then why not make a cheaper alternative that just gives you the console with whatever else comes packaged with it but minus the Kinect 2? Put that out there for $100 less and the Xbone mite actually have a chance compeating with the PS4.

Hey, feel free to choose whichever you please, but In think your a little mistaken given the claims you're making.

1. It really all comes down to preference, I happen to prefer the dualshock style but there really isn't a "WWWWAAAAAAYYYY better" controller either way IMO, I will admit though, that the New Xbox One controller certainly beats the 360's, it's great MS managed to fix that awful D-pad.

2. As for believing your account is ...

Thanks mate :)

It really does speak volumes about where Microsoft interests truly lie, the fact that even after both the Xbox One reveal and the E3 Microsoft press conference, the endless negative PR they received from core gamers did nothing to sway them, yet the moment the mainstream casual market started kicking up a fuss they suddenly took notice and removed the DRM.

Oh they will for sure, it's just a matter of time IMO.

that's true, gamers had very little effect on MS and their recent policy change.

However an indirect victory is still a victory IMO, in this case we should be thankful of the outcome not cause, although having said that, the cause is an intriguing one for sure.

This whole thing does well to highlight how much Microsoft truly value core gamer input, not much it seems....

See this a pretty obvious answer and the reason for that is, it's true.

Why choose a less powerful console that costs $100 more? is it for the Kinect 2? exclusives? or a misplaced sense obligation? anyone please do give me an answer this is a dicsussion worth having after all.

You can't assume that getting rid of second hand games will drastically increase the sales new games, people buying second hand do so for 2 reasons, they either cannot afford the game new, or they cannot find the game new because it is no longer in print and can only be obtained by means of second hand trade.

So for what you propose to actually happen, new games would have to be made cheaper, but with no direct competition toward the distribution of said games their would...

I know one thing for sure, it certainly wasn't because of any regular gamers.

The negative PR Microsoft received after both the Xbox One reveal and the E3 Microsoft press conference, did little to sway them from following through with the controversial DRM.

It seems the moment a public media network started to turn on them, MS realised they where about to loose their target demographic and went into damage control, however I sincerely doubt this is the la...

How nice of you to join N4G only 20 odd minuets ago and immediately start spreading the word on how great the Xbone will be, and what loosers those whose opinions differ must be for not seeing how magnificent and futuristic the Xbone truly is... Forgive me if that sounded insincere I doubt I have as much practice as you do.

Just how much are you getting paid to go about websites spreading blatant hyperbole and misinformation? Anyway, just like pretty much everyone else I see ...

Excellent blog as usual Dragon.

I would like to point out that even though MS may be pulling a Xbox 180 (sorry couldn't resist) the fact that they even had the intention of following through with their anti-consumer policies in the first place speaks volumes of where MS's loyalty's truly lie, they are still very much on the side of the publishers and if you ask me this change of heart is more to do with a fear of loosing big on Xbone sales due to a rise in bad pre...

This is how I see it going down.

Square brings Legacy of Kain as an MMO to test whether there is still a significant fanbase, but the game bombs bad because of lack of interest due to no Legacy of Kain fan wanting to play a knock off MMO in the LoK universe, Square take the lack of sales as proof that the IP is no longer profitable and it gets shelved again...

All we really want is another (proper) Legacy of Kain game, heck even a new protagonist, but nope l...

But even you must be able to admit that MS are pushing some iffy design/function choices.

Did they really need to make it so that you absolutely must install your games to the Xbone's hard drive in order to be able play them? or that you can't play games unless you log into your account first? or that you also simply can't game offline for any longer than an hour?

And then there's Kinect 2, a potential privacy concern, so much so that the Xbon...

Good to know. Gaming is an expensive enough hobby as it is, so at least while prices remain reasonable most of us can continue enjoying it.

Well that's fine by me, I'm not one of the angry fanboys crying over it getting snatched up
(see saved) by Nintendo.

The rights of ownership, to sell and trade that which I own through legal transaction and to privacy if I so choose.

You want to throw these rights away for a video game? fair enough, but I value my rights while I'm still entitled to them.

To be fair Beyonetta would have been dead and buried if Nintendo had not rescued it.

At any rate at least the IP has a fighting chance now, and if it does become successful on the Wii U it may very well get a release on the other platforms eventually.

Why do they refer to the Xbone as "Futuristic"? nowhere in the foreseeable future do I plan on throwing away my consumer rights.
