I could go into a lot of detail (I really could! lol) but I'll just say this.
TLOU is one of the best games to be released in years, the Zombie like "infected" were great and actually give the overly used Zombie apocalypse some credibility as well as proving there's still some life in the old horse.
Joel and Ellie are very likeable and are easy to sympathise with, their relationship nearing the end become very touching to those of us not yet...
That's exactly what I've been thinking. Titanfall is an interesting and fun looking game I'll give it that, but its nothing revolutionary or mind blowing.
Violence on its own is meaningless, but when used properly it can really enhance a story and/or game.
Would The Last Of Us have been such a compelling and memorable experience if all the violence had been censored? I don't think so.
What "Smoovekid" said.
Also many multiplats were built on the 360 so porting to the PS3 caused them to look worse due to the architecture being vastly different leading to devs cutting corners during the port.
Microsoft: Xbox One And PS4's Published Specs "Might Not Tell The Whole Story On Performance"
So says Microsoft... You can damn well bet they'd be singing a different tune if the Xbone was more powerful than the PS4 spec wise.
I know what you mean I've been a fan since the first one, btw have you played Armoured Core 5? and if so would you recommend it?
Exactly. no one can tell weather Titanfall will be good or not, and you should never trust the publishers to tell you the truth, least of all EA.
Fuse looked really interesting, when they were calling it Overstrike... Sometimes I wish EA would just disappear instead of stomping all of their IPs into mediocrity.
But look what happened to Dead Space... a partnership with EA is a slow death sentence.
I never said we only have FPS games being crated by Western devs, that's obviously wrong. But I think we can both agree that we have way too many of FPS games getting released these days, so much so that most gamers are tired of them.
Now don't get me wrong, I know many western devs are making and have made some pretty original titles, and I do enjoy playing Western games too, but I'll say it again, the most original games (I) have played are Japanese.
<...
I agree, I pretty much grew up playing Japanese games because I always felt they were the most fun, original and interesting, the West has certainly caught up and are pumping out great games now but too many of them are samey rehashes or monotonous shooters, now there's nothing wrong with a shooter but I haven't found one in a looong time.
I wonder how many people have actually played a lot of Japanese games before outright disagreeing with me...
Final Fantasy was always an exception. With each iteration they would try to take the series in a new direction by changing the plot and battle system, you can't compare Final Fantasy 7 to 12 or 12 to 15 because they are vastly different, unlike with many Western game sequels.
Anyway that's always been the point of Final Fantasy, and really this has nothing to do with sequels this is to do with risks, breaking the mold or what have you, so with that said there has cer...
I disagree, what do we get from western devs but Rehashes and FPS's galore?
Sure we get some gems like The Last Of Us every now and then, but the majority of original IPs I've played have cone from Japan, like Ico, Shadow of the colossus, Metal Gear Solid, Odin Sphere and Devil may cry.
I'm not biased, this is just how it seems to be from my perspective
Because Microsoft...
What's with the disagrees? I never said I don't like the JRPG's, their one of my favorirte game genres actually.
To each there own I guess, I'm sure there's JRPG out there that you may very well like. If it's that you're put off by the anime style then you mite want to try Lost Odyssey.
Not really. When most people think of an RPG they expect some kind tactical battle system where you need to plan your actions ahead of the enemies, use buffs and such, or better yet a turn based battle system. Lost Odyssey already proved the old system still works perfectly well.
FF-XV looks like a straight up action game to me, with some light RPG elements just like Kingdom Hearts was. Nothing wrong with that I suppose but it's just a shame to see Final Fantasy completel...
To answer your comment above. The reason I never played the game online is because I don't have Xbox live gold, simple as that really. I've got nothing at all against online multiplayer especially in regards to a beat 'em up.
There's probably some exploits in the game, since both Guitly Gear and Blaz Blue had a few, but really if your fighting someone who's using exploits I would recommend avoiding playing against them anyway. As far as local versus mode g...
Minecraft, Minecraft everywhere.
Yep, a decent modding is probably as close to an FF-7 remake as we're likely get lol.
