Sony has been a very greedy-NOT company and delivers real video games for us to play despite of their financial troubles in the past for the PS3. People bitching about games being crappy this generation are simply relying on the wrong devs and publishers to begin with.
Sony makes me proud. Uncharted 2 is a CLASSIC, and will be a classic 20 years from now.

Unfortunately yes, with truckloads of games probably even easier than Hannah Montana to platinum, like in 10 minutes tops. The AAA games supported by this are the games what really matter though.
PS Move is still a very positive move by Sony.
The Wii started this trend and Sony mastered it. PS Move FTW.
I love Pokemon games as much as I did back then. A must buy for me despite of ugly new additions.

I buy my 7th generation games new, but that's not because of the "support the devs" mentality but because of my preferences of mint copies over poor condition copies that may or may not function properly. I buy games to entertain myself, not to become the industry's bitch toy.
And raise the games to $70 and I'll buy my games on Amazon. No chance in hell I'm paying $70 when many games I paid $60 for this generation aren't worth half the price.
Both equally. PS2 BC to access almost the entire library of PS2 titles on your PS3 and HD remakes for improved experiences of the best titles.
Interesting technology. My 20GB plays PS2 games just like the 60GB but this would be nice to have when upgrading to a Slim. This would also eliminate all future complaints about people not playing PS2 games on their PS3.
Not every gamer plays games for graphics.
Wow SEGA, seriously? Who doesn't own a 7th gen console...especially the iPhone/iPod Touch userbase? Bring it on to the actual gaming consoles already; these gadget junkies can wait.

I am all for this move actually. MS did Sony a favor by giving gamers one more reason to buy the PS3 over the 360.
Then we have Xbox fans defending the price hike yet they're the same gamers bashing the 600 dollar PS3. As a result MS is letting their own supporters eat cake. What goes around comes around.

Except with used games, someone already paid the publishers for that copy as opposed to piracy, the copies are counterfeits and exist without bringing in a dime of revenue to the publishers. Legit copies of games are no different than any piece of personal property that has monetary value and can be sold to the second hand market or given to someone as a hand-me-down, such as a father giving his old games to his kids.
And if the companies don't like it, they can bake cake...
I may be wrong, but haven't Xbox360 unit sales declined? Again I pay little attention to the sales on PS3 units, much less the sales of 360 units.
If so, people have no right to brag in our face about Xbox360 game sales. Someday that will be thrown under the bus. We admit it, Xbox360's games sell better than PS3's. Too bad we play games for QUALITY.
