Proof? No?

Shorter games but better games is a good thing. Quality > quantity. But yeah paying $60 for many of these can be too much.
I just wait for the price drop unless I am able to squeeze many hours out of the game like LBP2. The trophies/achievements also help compensate for the short game. Whatever, 60 dollars can be too much for many games so waiting for the price drop is the way to go. GTA, LBP, Uncharted, Killzone are examples of a game well worth the $60.
I just hope the security is better than that of the PS3.
Not 599? Helps my PS4 savings money.
It's a good thing that Sony believes in "if it ain't broken don't fix it" when it comes to design of their handheld consoles and controllers.
Who cares? Well 5 people agree to him and plenty more where they come from.
Yeah some ports are terrible. Unfortunately this applies to one of my favorite games of this generation, Red Dead Redemption...
A PS3, Wii and PC gamer here.
I wholeheartedly agree with this post. I hope many of the other PS3/Wii/PC users look at this from the same perspective.
PS2 backward compatibility will never grace the PS3 again, ever. If we'll ever see BC again it'll be on the PS4.
I don't speak for everyone, but I have a 20GB (same BC as the 60GB) and I decided to pack it in my closet for a PS3 Slim 320GB and a PS2. Why? I rather have a quieter, more reliable system that produces less heat and is easier on my electric bill. My 20GB sounds like a jet engine, heats up, and once had YLOD that my friend fixed with a BGA repair and ne...
Got this game on launch and played the levels for many hours. I also spent many, many hours into the Create Mode already. You won't be disappointed.
If I were Sony I would just hire this guy as a tester for the PS4's security system. From a business standpoint I would want my hackers working with me to contribute to my product's security instead of opening doors to piracy. Hackers would have been something useful in this regard supposedly. Then again good luck convincing them to work with Sony.
*shrugs*
Reducing prices would help encourage software sales from budget gamers. Unfortunately it won't turn many pirates into legal buyers.
Only if Rockstar bought SquareEnix, we would see a good open world FF game again. But then again we'd have to see how vXIII goes.
Anyway, I agree, Rockstar Games and team Bondi would go great together!
Even if Uncharted 2 has sub-par graphics, the gameplay would still be the same. It just wouldn't feel the same if the game is an eyesore.
So yes graphics are important, but the gameplay is still the reason why I bought UC2 in the first place, even though it has amazing visuals.
At least GTA IV is better than many of the other franchises companies milk. Yearly Call of Duty anyone? I think that series needs to die before GTA.
Second hand sales deserve a lot more credit than you think. People only look at the shallow surface and call it Piracy v2.0, but if you take a deep look the used games are quite supportive for our economy, and even the industry. People that buy used are likely to buy the sequels new if the gamer ends up enticed to do so. Not to mention investing in the DLC disease that Activision relies on for mega profits.
Unfortunately gamers are getting dumber and dumber by the game genera...
I agree with this post. If you don't like the trade-in value of the games, simply don't sell your games there. Go have a yard sale instead.
